00:00Atora TV host Vic Soto personally went to the office of the city prosecutor of Muntinlupa to eat the 19 counts of cyber libel.

00:12He was complained by the director of the controversial movie The Rapists of Pepsi Paloma, Daryl Yap.

00:19Soto was with his housemate, Pauline Luna.

00:49Sometime ago, Yap released the trailer of the controversial movie where Soto's name was mentioned as the subject of the case.

00:57The complaint is equivalent to the civil damages or asking for damages equivalent to 20 million pesos.

01:04Before the complaint of the cyber libel, Soto first filed a petition for the writ of habeas data.

01:12Here, he denied the alleged allegation in the movie that he was one of the perpetrators of the Paloma case.

01:18It was against the Data Privacy Act that Yap processed his sensitive personal information.

01:26Because Yap admitted that his movie is about the rape case that Paloma filed against Soto.

01:32Soto said that Yap intended not to include in the teaser of the movie the information that the alleged case was dismissed.

01:41Since the teaser of the movie was released, he has already accepted his wife and child as his victims.

01:48His wife is now accepting rape threats.

01:51His child is being bullied in school.

01:54So, he really needs to take action.

01:56Today, the order of the Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court Branch 205 was issued

02:02in accordance with the alleged writ of habeas data of Soto

02:04where he asked to stop the release of any video that violates his privacy as part of the teaser of the movie.

02:13It means that we will stop posting and sharing these things until it can be discussed in court.

02:19In a statement, Yap said that he has not yet received a copy of Soto's complaint.

02:25But he said that all the material that he will release is documented and not made to be destroyed.

02:33He also said that he is not personalizing Soto.

02:36He just shared what happened and made it public.

02:40It is allowed for anyone to file a case, just like the rape case that Paloma filed.

02:46It was also included in the teaser that the case was dismissed and he did not lack anything.

02:50Pepsi Paloma died in 1985.
