00:00Speak to me and tell me what you saw before you just went back into a building, what you saw and what you filmed and how kind of apocalyptic it was.
00:11Yeah, you know, it's a really weird existence right now in Los Angeles. You have miles away just huge plumes of smoke that have covered the entire sky.
00:22There's really no sunlight. I live miles and miles away from these fires and my home and my yard were covered in ash this morning.
00:31And, you know, the Palisades fire, most of that smoke is going out to the water, but the Altadena fire and now the Selmar fire, most of that's coming over the populated areas.
00:44And so you have this very strange, like you said, it looks very apocalyptic, but there's this odd sort of bifurcation of life right now where a few miles north, it really is Armageddon.
00:57You know, people are losing their homes. They're fleeing for their lives. And then a few miles south, you have people in L.A.X. having lunch.
01:07And it's a very somber mood and a very somber tone for everyone living, but it's sort of other than some gray skies and some low air quality, it's kind of an oddly quiet but somewhat normal day.
01:20But I personally have five friends who have evacuated their homes. Two of them have confirmed that their homes are complete losses and it is a tragic happening out here.
