01:08hi okay hi good afternoon everybody I'm Paresh Shah from the Shah Nagar Das
01:15family in Oman our family has been there for about 100 years our grandfather
01:20came from a small village near Porbandar 80 kilometers from Porbandar so we are
01:26from the west coast of India and going to the east coast of Oman which is
01:29Muscat which is just about 1,500 kilometers which I'm sure he must have
01:33done it in a matter of three to four days but the ties between Oman and India
01:38are going back more than 2,000 years old as Mr. Alkesh was just mentioning and
01:42the ties are getting stronger thanks to the two great leaders that we have
01:46Sultan Haytham on our side in Oman and Modi ji on the Indian side I mean our
01:52Sultan Qaboos the previous ruler of Oman also had close ties with India
01:57wherein he had studied and you know he was in in India for some time so it's a
02:03great to know that and learn that the two nations are getting and binding
02:08together more and more as the time goes on and not only in economic ways but
02:13also culturally through art through education and many other things have
02:17happening on a day-to-day basis and great thanks to the Modiji's initiative
02:22of monkey but where he came up with this great idea of archiving our history
02:27and keeping it for not only for ourselves and you know that the bedtime
02:31stories that we tell to our children and grandchildren but to everybody outside
02:34as well that they know and understand the history and what our grandparents
02:39went through when they came to Oman so it's been good coming here to Orissa
