00:00Many Filipinos are in favor of the impeachment complaint against Vice President Sara Duterte based on the survey of the Social Weather Station in the last quarter of 2024.

00:10The survey also asked what issues could be the basis of impeachment.

00:20In the survey of the SWS in the last quarter of 2024, which was commissioned by the Advisory and Research Consultancy Group, StratBase,

00:2841% said they agree with the impeachment complaints filed against Vice President Sara Duterte.

00:3635% did not agree while 19% were undecided.

00:40If the so-called impeachment is to be avoided, it is most supported by those in Balans, Luzon,

00:45where 50% agreed, followed by the National Capital Region, Visayas, and Mindanao.

00:52The majority did not agree with the Baluarte of Duterte in Mindanao, where 56% said they did not support the complaints filed.

01:01As of now, there are three impeachment complaints filed against VP Duterte and four complaints are being prepared.

01:09Respondents also asked what could be the basis to impeach the Vice President.

01:1546% said it could be the basis for the inexplicable expenses of the Office of the Vice President and the Department of Education

01:23in its confidential and intelligence funds.

01:26He followed his refusal to answer the investigation related to the use of confidential and intelligence funds.

01:33He said ill-gotten wealth that cannot be explained by the Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth, or SAL and FORM of Duterte.

01:40He followed the allegations of President Bongbong Marcos, First Lady Lisa Araneta Marcos, and Speaker Martin Romualdez,

01:48and his involvement in extrajudicial killings when he was the mayor of Davao City.

01:53The survey was conducted from December 12 to 18, 2024, with 2,160 respondents and a margin of error of plus or minus 2 percent.

02:03We asked for the reaction of the Vice President and the Senators in the survey.

02:07Duterte said that he is ready to face these and he also defended that he did not violate the law.
