मुंबई/महाराष्ट्र: कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता और महाराष्ट्र के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री पृथ्वीराज चव्हाण ने IANS से बात करते हुए कहा कि EVM का उपयोग वर्षों से हो रहा है, लेकिन इसकी पारदर्शिता पर सवाल उठते रहे हैं। हालांकि EVM के खिलाफ़ अब तक कोई ठोस सबूत नहीं मिला है लेकिन इसका मतलब यह नहीं कि यह पूरी तरह सही है। इसकी गहन जांच जरूरी है। दिल्ली चुनाव पर कहा कि अरविंद केजरीवाल चुनाव जीत सकते हैं लेकिन कांग्रेस भी मजबूती से चुनाव लड़ेगी। अगर कांग्रेस और आप (AAP) के बीच गठबंधन होता तो यह बेहतर होता। महाराष्ट्र चुनाव पर कहा कि आने वाले चुनाव बैलेट पेपर से कराए जाने चाहिए ताकि जनता का विश्वास बहाल हो। यह सिर्फ दिल्ली या बिहार की बात नहीं है, बल्कि पूरे देश की है। जब तक अंतिम व्यक्ति को चुनावी प्रक्रिया पर भरोसा नहीं हो जाता। बैलेट पेपर का उपयोग ही सही रहेगा।
