00:00The Department of Budget and Management, led by Secretary Amena Pangandaman,
00:04has forged strategic partnerships with major Filipino media organizations
00:08to promote open government practices. These partners include the Presidential Communications
00:13Office, Manila Bulletin, Inquirer Interactive, DZRH, and DOOH Philippines. This move aims to
00:21support the upcoming Asia and Pacific regional meeting in February 2025. Secretary Pangandaman
00:27stressed the role of media in spreading open government principles to the public,
00:32calling them co-architects in this effort. The ceremonial signing of the MOA was held
00:37at the DBM Central Office with senior officials from the partner organizations in attendance.
00:43The OGP Asia and Pacific regional meeting will be held from February 5 to 7, 2025
00:49at the Grand Hyatt Hotel.
