00:02May Allah bless and protect you forever and ever.
00:05For the sake of His Beloved, the best of all creation.
00:08This beautiful program of RYQ TV is presented to you by Islam and Naujwan,
00:13and your host Dr. Sarwar Hussain Naqshbandi.
00:17This program is being recorded in our universities,
00:21and this time, in association with Khwaja Gharib Nawaz,
00:26we are here at the University of Gujarat,
00:29and in association with the Department of Islamic Studies,
00:32and in association with the University's administration,
00:34this program is being presented to you.
00:37Khwaja Gharib Nawaz, may Allah have mercy on him,
00:40and certainly in the whole world,
00:42his followers, those who love him,
00:45celebrate these days with great love and devotion.
00:49So, taking this opportunity as a boon,
00:53we thought it appropriate to address you
00:56with regards to Sufism, spirituality,
00:59sainthood, and the questions you have in your mind
01:02regarding the Auliya-e-Kiram,
01:05and also to have a discussion with you on the topic of Sufism.
01:09A brief statement of Khwaja Gharib Nawaz, may Allah have mercy on him,
01:13we are going to have a discussion with you.
01:19You have said that for true repentance,
01:22three things are necessary.
01:25For true repentance, three things are necessary,
01:28and those three things are related to our actions.
01:31You have said that eating less, sleeping less, and speaking less.
01:35These three things are necessary for repentance,
01:38if a person wants to repent.
01:41And by adopting these things,
01:45you have said that the first thing,
01:48eating less creates the fear of God.
01:51When the Auliya-e-Kiram have a discussion,
01:54when they say something in front of their listeners,
01:58then they open their hands and
02:01reveal the hidden knowledge in it.
02:04They also explain it.
02:07So, he said that by eating less,
02:10the fear of God is created.
02:12And by sleeping less and speaking less,
02:15the love and obedience of God is created.
02:18So, these three things are very important for a person.
02:22Today, in this special session,
02:25we are fortunate that our young and respected scholars,
02:32whom you have seen on ARYQ TV,
02:35so, in this session today,
02:38they are guests as well as hosts of this session.
02:43So, in both these capacities,
02:45I am very thankful to them for providing this facility to our viewers.
02:49Through their students,
02:52they are conveying all the questions to our viewers,
02:55and that discussion will also, Inshallah,
02:58reach you all in a very good and beautiful way.
03:01I invite you with the words of Hazrat Iqbal,
03:05that when love teaches the etiquette of God,
03:11the secrets of the emperor are revealed to the slaves.
03:15Be it Attar, be it Rumi, be it Sadi, be it Kajami,
03:20nothing is achieved without the support of the Sahargah.
03:24O Ta'eer-e-Lahuti, death is better than that sustenance.
03:29The sustenance from which you come,
03:31is only in flight.
03:34From Dara'u-Sikandar,
03:36be that man who is poor,
03:39in whose poverty,
03:41there is only the scent of Asadullah.
03:43The mirror of young men,
03:45is like the truth.
03:47The lions of Allah,
03:49cannot be drowned.
03:51With the words of Hazrat Iqbal,
03:54I would like to invite Dr. Syed Hamid Farooq Bukhari,
04:00to come and in today's session,
04:03address our students,
04:05our viewers,
04:07in terms of Sufism,
04:09spirituality,
04:11and sainthood.
04:13In the name of Allah, most Gracious, ever Merciful.
04:16Today, in another session,
04:18we are present from the platform of Islam and Naujawan,
04:21ARYQ TV,
04:23and we understood the concept of Islam,
04:26the concept of Taqwa,
04:28the concept of Sufism,
04:30the concept of spirituality,
04:32and today we will talk about,
04:34the concept of Wilayat.
04:36There are three meanings of Wilayat.
04:40One meaning of Wilayat is,
04:42Qurb.
04:44Qurbat.
04:46Allah is the Lord of Glory.
04:48If the meaning of Wilayat is,
04:50Qurbat or Qurb,
04:52then it means that,
04:54a Wali is a person,
04:56who is close to Allah.
04:58Who is close to Allah.
05:00The second meaning of Wilayat is,
05:02Mahabbat.
05:04If the meaning of Wilayat is Mahabbat,
05:06then it means that,
05:08a person who is a lover of Allah,
05:10and a beloved of Allah.
05:12Those who believe,
05:14are the most beloved to Allah.
05:16Those who believe,
05:18who love their Lord,
05:20with all their heart,
05:22and sacrifice everything for the pleasure of Allah.
05:25This is the level,
05:27in which they are a lover of Allah.
05:29Arabic
05:35While obeying the Prophet,
05:37the lover reaches the level,
05:39where he is no longer a lover,
05:41but a beloved of Allah.
05:43He becomes a beloved of Allah.
05:45If the meaning of Wilayat is Qurbat,
05:47then it means that,
05:49a person who is close to Allah.
05:51If the meaning of Wilayat is Mahabbat,
05:53then it means that,
05:55a person who is a beloved of Allah.
05:57If the meaning of Wilayat is Qafalat,
05:59then it means that,
06:01a saint is the one,
06:03whose Qafalat is my Lord.
06:05Whose Qafalat is Allah.
06:07So, the one whose Qafalat is Allah,
06:09for him it is announced,
06:11Arabic
06:23That, O my servants,
06:25Arabic
06:39Arabic
06:51Arabic
06:55Arabic
07:07Arabic
07:19So, therefore,
07:21there are three meanings of Wilayat.
07:23There is love,
07:25and there is Qafalat.
07:27Now, try to understand,
07:29the whole universe is in the Wilayat
07:31of my Lord.
07:33Arabic
07:49Ask them,
07:51who gives you sustenance in the heavens and the earth?
07:53Who is the one who is the owner of your hearing,
07:55your sight, and your vision?
07:57Who has given you these ears to hear,
07:59eyes to see, heart to beat?
08:01Who is the one who takes the dead out of the dead
08:03and the living out of the living?
08:05This is the answer you will get,
08:07that is Allah.
08:09So, it is said,
08:11Arabic
08:13Then why do you not fear Him?
08:15Why do you not fear Him?
08:17He is the owner of all things,
08:19He is the owner of all things.
08:21He is the owner of all things,
08:23and He is self-sufficient.
08:25Now, He can give to whom He wants.
08:27This is His decision,
08:29this is His will.
08:31So, whoever finds His nearness,
08:33whoever is near to Him,
08:35whoever sacrifices everything in His love,
08:37lying under the knife,
08:39was it an easy task?
08:41There will be a story for you and me,
08:43there will be a novel.
08:45Read the Quran.
08:47Arabic
08:49Arabic
08:51Now, Abraham and Ishmael
08:53had sacrificed everything
08:55for the sake of Allah.
08:57They did not argue,
08:59they did not argue,
09:01they did not argue,
09:03and when the knife was drawn,
09:05my Lord said,
09:07open your eyes,
09:09the sacrifice will be accepted,
09:11the Son has also been given.
09:13This is the trust of Allah's Prophets
09:15So, when they sacrifice everything for Allah,
09:17then whatever belongs to Allah,
09:19belongs to them.
09:21Then they help people
09:23with the power and permission
09:25given by Allah.
09:27Allah helps them,
09:29they help people.
09:31I would like to say just two sentences
09:33at the end of my speech.
09:35Today, sometimes our youth
09:37are confused
09:39that attributing a title
09:41to a pious servant of Allah
09:43is not appropriate.
09:45To call Hazrat Ali Hujwairi
09:47a giver,
09:49to call Moinuddin a pious servant,
09:51then the pious servant is Allah.
09:53The giver is Allah,
09:55there is no doubt about it.
09:57The greatest helper,
09:59that is, the Greatest of all,
10:01is also Allah.
10:03But from Allah's gift,
10:05from what Allah has given,
10:07is Allah not pious?
10:09Is Allah not a scholar?
10:11If Allah is not pious,
10:13then are you not pious?
10:15If Allah is not merciful,
10:17then are you not merciful?
10:19It does not mean that
10:21you are as merciful as Allah,
10:23you are as knowledgeable as Allah,
10:25you are as wise as Allah,
10:27you are as wise as Allah.
10:29It is not like that.
10:31Allah gives,
10:33from what Allah has given,
10:35He distributes to the creation.
10:37So, this concept of sainthood
10:39that Allah has described,
10:41everything is under the command of Allah,
10:43everything is under the obedience of Allah,
10:45everything is under the influence of Allah,
10:47everything is under the command of Allah,
10:49He creates day from night,
10:51He creates day from night,
11:03It is said that
11:05He is the owner of everything.
11:07If you want to give something to someone
11:09because of your love,
11:11then no human being has the power
11:13to stop what Allah has given.
11:15So, in reality,
11:17sainthood is His,
11:19but He also gives to His beloved ones
11:21from that,
11:23and declares that
11:25they love Allah
11:27and Allah loves them.
11:33Doctor, I have a question for you.
11:35What is obedience?
11:37Can we obey a saint or a saint?
11:41See,
11:43obeying or obeying,
11:45the basic purpose of both
11:47is to walk on the path,
11:49to follow someone.
11:51When you have read
11:53Ilm-e-Nau,
11:55there the term Tawabe is also used.
11:57So, Tawabe is plural,
11:59and its singular is Tabe,
12:01and Tabe means the one who follows.
12:03So, now,
12:05we will follow the one
12:07who is the one who
12:09follows Allah and His Messenger.
12:11Our follower
12:13and our follower
12:15can only be the one
12:17who follows Allah and His Messenger
12:19and obeys.
12:21So, in any such command,
12:23you will not obey
12:25the so-called saint
12:27or saint
12:29who is against Shariah.
12:31The command against Shariah
12:33is the principle
12:35that you will not
12:37obey anyone.
12:39So, you will only obey
12:41the one who reads the Nimaat,
12:43fasts, gives Zakat,
12:45does charity,
12:47and brings people closer.
12:49Everyone can do this,
12:51but it is very difficult
12:53to forgive someone.
12:55It has become very difficult
12:57for us. So, the saints of Allah
12:59say,
13:07So, the one who answers the ignorant
13:09with Salam,
13:11is the saint of Allah.
13:13How many of us answer with Salam?
13:15We answer with abuse,
13:17we answer with slap,
13:19we express anger.
13:21So, the one who lives his life
13:23according to the commandments
13:25of Allah and His Messenger
13:27is the saint of Allah.
13:29It is necessary to obey him.
13:31If the command is
13:33against Shariah,
13:35then it will not be accepted.
13:37Assalamu Alaikum.
13:39Sir, I have a question for you.
13:41Is it necessary to respect
13:43the saint or saint?
13:45See, basically,
13:47the saint or saint
13:49is a human being.
13:51Remove this misunderstanding
13:53that your saint is not human
13:55because sometimes
13:57we follow them
13:59to such an extent
14:01that we think that they are not human
14:03and there can be no mistake
14:05or injustice with them.
14:07So, we should not follow them.
14:09The Qur'an has also
14:11commanded respect
14:13for the human being.
14:15And the Messenger of Allah
14:17stood in front of the Ka'bah
14:19and addressed the Ka'bah.
14:21This is a Hadith of Sihah.
14:23The Messenger of Allah said
14:25that your greatness is great
14:27and your honour is respected.
14:29But the honour of a believer
14:31is greater than yours.
14:33If this commandment
14:35is given to respect a common man,
14:37then the saint of Allah
14:39will be pure,
14:41righteous.
14:43We have given five or six sessions
14:45on this topic.
14:47Now you should understand
14:49who is a saint.
14:51Those who are humble
14:53in their prayers.
14:55Those who do not speak ill of others.
14:57Those who do zakat.
14:59Those who guard their chastity.
15:01Except for their spouses
15:03or those whom their right hands possess.
15:05They are not to be blamed.
15:07Those who seek beyond that
15:09are the enemies.
15:11Those who guard their trust
15:13and their covenant.
15:15Those who guard their prayers.
15:17They are the inheritors.
15:19Those who guard their trust
15:21and their covenant.
15:23This is the first verse of chapter 18.
15:25I don't have time to explain it.
15:27You can read it in detail.
15:29A saint is the one who has
15:31all these qualities.
15:33If we don't respect that person,
15:35we respect the common man
15:37who teaches us here.
15:39So why not respect
15:41the one who will lead us to Allah?
15:43Assalamu Alaikum.
15:45I, Syeda Shamsarif, want to ask you
15:47what is the meaning of Khanqah?
15:49Is it against the mosque?
15:51They have asked two questions.
15:53What is the meaning of Khanqah?
15:55Is it a contradiction?
15:57Is it a stubbornness of the mosque?
15:59It is not like that.
16:01Khanqah, as I have said before,
16:03is like your classroom.
16:05It is like a lab.
16:07It is a laboratory.
16:09You have to go there
16:11and examine.
16:13You have to see where you are.
16:15The teacher will tell you
16:17to do Zikr of Allah.
16:19Khanqah is where you have to do it.
16:21The saint of Allah will tell you
16:23how you have to do Zikr.
16:25We get a mobile phone,
16:27whether it is iPhone,
16:2916 Pro or Max.
16:31You will get a manual
16:33with it.
16:35It will tell you
16:37whether you are a PhD doctor
16:39or you have a high rank.
16:41But we have made this phone.
16:43If you want to use it,
16:45it will be fine.
16:47Otherwise, it will be harmful for you.
16:49The saint of Allah
16:51will hold your hand
16:53and tell you
16:55how you have to do Zikr.
16:57What is the style of Zikr?
16:59How do you have to present yourself
17:01in front of Allah?
17:03When you sit in Khanqah,
17:05it is not a stubbornness of the mosque.
17:07I can tell you thousands of Khanqah
17:09where mosque and Khanqah are together.
17:11Imam Ali Tahiyyat-ul-Sana
17:13and Sahab-e-Sufa were one mosque.
17:15Therefore, the real saint,
17:17saint, and teacher will be
17:19the one whose Khanqah is
17:21connected to the mosque.
17:23Thank you very much
17:25for your guidance.
17:27You have guided
17:29our students
17:31and viewers
17:33very beautifully.
17:35Thank you very much
17:37dear viewers.
17:39With these words,
17:41I would like to seek your permission
17:43that
18:09I would like to seek your permission
18:11that
18:13I would like to seek your permission
18:15that
18:17I would like to seek your permission
18:19that
18:21I would like to seek your permission
18:23that
18:25I would like to seek your permission
18:27that
18:29I would like to seek your permission
18:31that
18:33I would like to seek your permission
18:35that
18:37I would like to seek your permission
18:39that
18:41I would like to seek your permission
18:43that
18:45I would like to seek your permission
18:47that
18:49I would like to seek your permission
18:51that
18:53I would like to seek your permission
18:55that
18:57I would like to seek your permission
18:59that
19:01I would like to seek your permission
19:03that
