00:00Let's start with a positive. Let's start with a positive. I'll allow you to pick one of the
00:04two players they're up to start with. Buzzing to start with a positive because the rest of
00:08the show is going to be all negative, so that's great. Excellent. Let's get the hopes up first.
00:12Let's go with someone who's been featured a bit more prominently under Vito Herrera as of late.
00:19We saw him make his debut in that first game of the season against Arsenal. I think we both thought
00:23at the time. Very unfortunate to be basically out of the picture after that really,
00:29bar the odd appearance and maybe some fleeting substitute appearances. But I think we saw the
00:35quality that Rodrigo Gomez has got last night on the ball. His work rate is unprecedented.
00:42He will run for you all day long, but he has got some excellent delivery. I think some beautiful
00:47crosses. He had a great shot. It was a really good save close up, but technically it was very
00:53difficult shot to get off and could have quite easily got the equaliser. We might have been
00:58talking about a different story, but just his overall performance, Liam, shows someone that's
01:02got some real promise, not just now, but also in the future for Wolves. An exciting, exciting
01:07prospect and looks like a really good signing. Definitely. You sort of alluded to it there,
01:12but we saw a player in pre-season that was shining out in America, wasn't he? Obviously,
01:16pre-season is pre-season. It's not going to be as intense as the Premier League,
01:20but he did very, very well. We saw a player away at Arsenal on the first game of the season that I
01:26thought did okay. Nothing outstanding. I don't think he was one of the worst performers on the
01:30day by any means going all the way back to August. And he was pretty much bombed out from there.
01:37I don't think Gary Neal was particularly enamoured by what he was seeing. I also think maybe Rodrigo
01:44was slightly unlucky because there were a few, some appearances that he did okay in. He played
01:48really well in the cup away at Brighton, didn't he? Which was again, a lifetime ago. And he didn't
01:54quite get the chances. And he took that chance once Vitor Pereira arrived away at Leicester
02:01in that starting that first game. Then Nuri is back and available again, and he has to bide his
02:06time and be patient. Understandably so, because Brian Nuri, I think is one of the most important
02:10players to this team and the setup that Vitor Pereira and to be fair, Gary Neal wanted to play.
02:15So with that bearing in mind, and he's still only 21 years old, you have to be a little bit
02:21patient, but when those opportunities do arise, you have to take them. And everything we know
02:26and heard about Rodrigo Gomez is he's a good professional. He's good behind the scenes.
02:32He's not someone that's going to kick up a fuss. And it seems that he's clearly knuckled down
02:36and prepared himself for that next chance. And it came probably sooner than he expected with a few
02:41injuries, you know, issues with Samedo and Dawson, all of a sudden he's back in. And I
02:46thought he was very good last night. I really did. I thought he was his best player to be
02:49brutally honest. Energy is the word you use. I think that's a really good one to describe him
02:53full of energy down that flank up and down brilliantly. But there's a bit of quality at
02:59the end of it as well. That cross for Larson that he should have scored the header was wonderful.
03:03That volley shot that you were talking about excellent technique. I think he was a really,
03:07really dangerous constant threat and caused for us a lot of problems.
