न्यू अशोक नगर/दिल्ली: प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने रविवार को दिल्ली-मेरठ क्षेत्रीय रैपिड ट्रांजिट सिस्टम (RRTS) कॉरिडोर के 13 किलोमीटर लंबे खंड का उद्घाटन किया। यह खंड उत्तर प्रदेश के साहिबाबाद को दिल्ली के न्यू अशोक नगर से जोड़ता है। अब न्यू अशोक नगर से मेरठ साउथ तक 11 स्टेशनों वाला 55 किलोमीटर लंबा RRTS कॉरिडोर चालू हो गया है। यात्री सेवाएं शाम 5 बजे से शुरू होंगी और हर 15 मिनट में ट्रेनें उपलब्ध रहेंगी। न्यू अशोक नगर से मेरठ साउथ तक की यात्रा के लिए स्टैंडर्ड कोच का किराया ₹150 और प्रीमियम कोच का किराया ₹225 निर्धारित किया गया है।
