00:00A 13-year-old boy was killed in a fire in Cebu.

00:05It also burned in Pasay and Manila.

00:14Early in the morning, residents of Barangay Duljo Fatima in Cebu City woke up from the blaze.

00:21Those trapped climbed up the roof along with several children.

00:25With the help of a flashlight, the residents managed to escape alive.

00:47But a 13-year-old boy did not give up.

00:51He did not leave his house where the fire started.

00:55Around 3.50 in the morning,

01:00the 13-year-old boy did not show up.

01:04That prompted an adoptive father

01:08to ask the assistance of the firefighters

01:13that their child was missing.

01:17The blaze reached 32 houses.

01:22When the firefighters responded,

01:25the fire started on Arnaiz Avenue, Barangay 94 in Pasay City

01:29around 1 in the afternoon.

01:31The situation was critical

01:33because the houses were close to each other.

01:38Within 10 minutes of the first alarm,

01:42the third alarm was declared.

01:46Fortunately, the fire was just within the width of Arnaiz Avenue

01:50so the firefighters did not have a hard time.

01:52At 2.90 in the afternoon, the fire was declared as a fire-out

01:55and no casualties were reported in the fire incident.

02:15the fire broke out in Moriones, Tondo, Manila.
