00:00In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
00:30In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
01:00In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
01:30In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
02:00In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
02:30But, my Master, when I do not see you, I begin to feel terror until I see you.
02:40My Master, when I remember the Hereafter, I begin to fear that at the time of the Hereafter,
02:50you will be at the level of the Prophets in Paradise, while I will be at the lower level.
02:57This means that how will I be able to see you in Paradise?
03:03So, when Hazrat Sawan said this, Allah the Almighty revealed this noble verse.
03:12He who obeys Allah and the Messenger of Allah, he will be with those whom Allah has bestowed His Grace upon,
03:28who are the Prophets, the Siddiqin, the Martyrs, and the Saliheen.
03:34He who obeys Allah and the Messenger of Allah, he will be with those whom Allah has bestowed His Grace upon,
03:41who are the Prophets, the Siddiqin, the Martyrs, and the Saliheen.
04:02As far as Ma'iyyat is concerned, Imam Razi has written in Tafseer-e-Kabir that Ma'iyyat does not mean that all of them will be at the same level in Paradise.
04:13Ma'iyyat means that they will be able to see each other in Paradise.
04:23i.e. the Prophets, the Siddiqin, the Martyrs, and the Saliheen.
04:26They will be at their respective levels and those who obey them will be at their level in Paradise.
04:34However, the distance between these levels will not be a barrier to see each other.
04:42Whenever the Ummah will want to see the Prophet in Paradise, they will be overwhelmed.
04:51Respected audience, Allah the Almighty has said in Tafseer-e-Kashaf that
04:58what a wonderful companion they are, what a wonderful companion they are.
05:02The author of Tafseer-e-Kashaf has written that
05:05what a wonderful companion they are, what a wonderful companion they are.
05:15And here the author has said that
05:17that is the grace of Allah.
05:19Imam Qurtubi has said that
05:22the companions of the Prophets, the Siddiqin, and the Saliheen are a special grace of Allah.
05:34And as far as their benefits are concerned,
05:37they are called the blessed ones, the Prophets, the Siddiqin, the Martyrs, and the Saliheen.
05:42Respected audience, here the word Saliheen has been mentioned.
05:47Saliheen means the people of Allah, the saints and the perfect ones.
05:52Here Allah the Almighty has mentioned the Saliheen with the Prophets, the Siddiqin, and the Martyrs.
06:00This indicates the greatness of the saints and the perfect ones and their high status.
06:08Respected audience, today our topic is Ta'at.
06:14We will have to understand the meaning of Ta'at.
06:18In Al-Qamus Al-Muheed, there is Ta'at al-Riza wa-l-Inqiyadu lil-Amr.
06:26Ta'at means to be content, to bow down before the command.
06:33Allama Ibn Manzoor Afriqi has written that Ta'at is derived from Tau'un,
06:38which means to obey the command with pleasure and desire.
06:42In this case, what would be the meaning of Ta'atullah?
06:45Imam Raghib writes that the commandments of Allah,
06:48the things that Allah has commanded,
06:51and the things that Allah has forbidden,
06:54this is Ta'atullah.
06:56What does Ta'atur Rasool mean?
06:59Allama Ibn Manzoor Afriqi has written that
07:02following the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah,
07:05and the commandments of the Messenger of Allah is Ta'atur Rasool.
07:13Respected audience, as far as the importance of Ta'at is concerned,
07:19in the religion of Islam, Ta'at has a fundamental and necessary status.
07:26But remember that the center of obedience is Allah and the Messenger of Allah.
07:33As far as the importance of obedience is concerned,
07:37in the Holy Quran, Allah has given instructions on its importance.
07:47I would like to present one of these instructions.
07:52Allah has instructed,
07:54O ye who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger, and those who are in authority among you.
07:59O ye who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger, and those who are in authority among you.
08:06Here you see, the companions of the commandment,
08:08the Messenger of Allah,
08:10and the command of obeying Allah are being given to the believers.
08:15This means that the completion of faith will be with obedience.
08:21This means that the completion of faith will be with obedience.
08:25Similarly, in another place, Allah has instructed,
08:31O ye who believe! Obey Allah, and those who are in authority among you.
08:34The one who obeys the Messenger,
08:38he has obeyed Allah.
08:42Here, the obedience of the Messenger of Allah is being called Ta'atur Rasool.
08:48This means that the commandment of the Messenger of Allah is the commandment of Allah.
08:52The prohibition of the Messenger of Allah is the prohibition of Allah.
08:55And the approval of the Messenger of Allah is the approval of Allah.
09:00Imam Razi has made a very good comment on this in Tafseer-e-Kabir.
09:06He says that Allah has given instructions in the Holy Quran,
09:11to offer Salat and fast,
09:13but we do not see their details in the Holy Quran.
09:18So how can we offer Salat and fast?
09:21We will have to turn to the Messenger of Allah.
09:26The Messenger of Allah has explained the details of Salat.
09:30The Messenger of Allah has explained the details of fasting.
09:33This is why the obedience of the Messenger of Allah in the Holy Quran
09:37has been declared as the obedience of Allah.
09:40In summary, the obedience of the Messenger of Allah is the obedience of Allah.
09:46From here, the Prophethood of the Messenger of Allah
09:50and the innocence of the Messenger of Allah are proven.
09:56The obedience of Allah and His Messenger
10:01has been declared as a great success in the Holy Quran.
10:06It has been stated that whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger
10:09has attained a great success.
10:11Whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger
10:14has attained a great success.
10:17Imam Razi says that what does great success mean?
10:22Imam Razi says that great success has two meanings.
10:27One meaning is that on the Day of Resurrection,
10:30when people will be burning in the fire of hell,
10:33those who obey Allah and His Messenger
10:38will be safe from the torment of Allah.
10:42The other meaning of great success is that
10:50those who obey Allah and His Messenger
11:00will be rewarded with eternal reward.
11:08In the Holy Quran, the disobedience of Allah and His Messenger
11:12has been declared as destruction.
11:15Allah the Almighty says,
11:17Whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger
11:20will be in the fire of hell.
11:23Allah the Almighty says that whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger
11:27will be in the fire of hell.
11:31If we look at these two verses,
11:35we will understand the importance of obedience.
11:38On one hand, the obedience of Allah and His Messenger
11:42has been declared as great success.
11:45On the other hand, the disobedience of Allah and His Messenger
11:49has been declared as destruction.
11:53Dear viewers,
11:55The obedience of Allah and His Messenger
11:59has been declared as a means of attaining Allah's love.
12:07Allah the Almighty has said in the Holy Quran,
12:12If you love Allah, follow me, Allah will love you.
12:18If you love Allah, follow me, Allah will love you.
12:28If you love Allah, follow me, Allah will love you.
12:36You will be loved by Allah.
12:39Dear viewers,
12:41In the Holy Quran, Allah says,
12:46Allah loves those who do good.
12:51Allah loves those who are patient.
12:57Allah loves those who are just.
13:02Allah loves those who are patient,
13:05good and just.
13:08The reason for this is that
13:10because the believers of the Messenger of Allah
13:13obeyed and followed the Messenger of Allah
13:16in being patient and doing good.
13:20Because of this obedience,
13:24Allah himself began to love him.
13:28As far as the need for obedience is concerned,
13:36Dear viewers,
13:38In Islam, it is clear that
13:42obedience, faith, action, and society
13:46are the center of order and discipline.
13:50And why is obedience necessary?
13:55We will have to understand the purpose of creation for this.
13:59Regarding which Allah the Almighty has stated,
14:02I have created the jinn and the human beings for My worship.
14:13When the purpose of creation is the worship of Allah,
14:19then obedience will be necessary for worship.
14:24Therefore, establish prayer.
14:28Pay zakat.
14:30In this holy verse,
14:32the commandment of Hajj has been given.
14:35Now, how to perform Hajj?
14:38How to establish prayer?
14:40How to offer prayer?
14:42For this, it will be necessary to obey the Messenger of Allah.
14:47So, the purpose of creation is actually hidden in obedience.
14:55If you obey the Messenger of Allah,
14:58then the purpose of creation will be fulfilled.
15:03Therefore, this is the reason
15:05why obedience to the Messenger of Allah
15:09has been declared the path of guidance.
15:12Allah the Almighty has said in the Holy Quran,
15:15If you obey the Messenger of Allah,
15:20you will be guided.
15:24In the same way,
15:26one of the reasons for obedience is that
15:31obedience to Allah or the Messenger of Allah
15:37is the means of success in the hereafter.
15:40Allah the Almighty has stated this in the Holy Quran.
15:48Allah the Almighty has said,
15:50Obedience to Allah will make him enter the gardens of Paradise
15:54in which rivers flow.
15:58One of the reasons for obedience is that
16:02to establish individual and social order,
16:07obedience is necessary.
16:11Obedience is necessary.
16:13This is confirmed and established.
16:16Ladies and gentlemen,
16:18I am presenting a very important point
16:21for the need of obedience.
16:24Why is obedience necessary for us?
16:27The secret of the success of the Ummah
16:30is hidden in obedience.
16:34In Al-Jami' Al-Shahi,
16:36the Messenger of Allah said,
16:42He said,
16:43It is necessary for you to listen and obey
16:48because you will have to face differences after me.
16:52Today, the Ummah,
16:54which is a victim of division,
16:56which is a victim of division,
16:58and which is a victim of humiliation,
17:00if you want to turn this division
17:03into unity,
17:06if you want to turn the division into unity,
17:10if you want to turn the division into unity,
17:15then we will have to come to the secret of the success of the Ummah
17:20told by the Messenger of Allah.
17:24The Messenger of Allah said,
17:27It is necessary for you to listen and obey.
17:32This is the secret of the success of the Ummah.
17:36And see,
17:38faith is incomplete without obedience.
17:41This is a very important point.
17:43Allah the Almighty has stated this in the Holy Quran.
17:47Allah the Almighty has stated this in the Holy Quran.
17:50Allah the Almighty has said,
17:51By your Lord,
17:52those people will not believe
17:54until they make you their ruler in their disputes.
17:57O beloved,
17:59until they make you their ruler in their disputes,
18:05Allah the Almighty has said,
18:09Their faith will be incomplete
18:14until they make you their ruler
18:18and obey you.
18:21So obedience is necessary
18:24because faith is incomplete without obedience.
18:28Respected audience,
18:30It has been proven that
18:32without obedience,
18:34action is useless,
18:36life is disorderly,
18:39and for individual and collective success,
18:43obedience is necessary.
18:46Respected audience,
18:48as far as the benefits of obedience in our lives are concerned,
18:52which follows Allah
18:54and the Messenger of Allah,
18:57what benefits will he get in this world and the hereafter?
19:02Let's move on to this discussion.
19:05See,
19:07The one who obeys the Messenger of Allah,
19:12the one who obeys the Messenger of Allah,
19:16will attain the rank of belovedness with Allah.
19:20And his sins
19:23will be forgiven because of his obedience to the Messenger of Allah.
19:29Allah the Almighty has revealed this in the Holy Qur'an.
19:32Allah the Almighty has said,
19:34If you love Allah,
19:36follow me, Allah will love you
19:38and forgive you your sins.
19:40Allah the Almighty has said,
19:42If you claim to love Allah,
19:44O beloved,
19:46follow me,
19:49obey me,
19:52and Allah will forgive your sins.
19:56Now, see,
19:58in following the Messenger of Allah,
20:00we have two benefits.
20:02One benefit is that
20:04we will become beloved to Allah.
20:07We will attain the rank of belovedness with Allah.
20:11In following the Messenger of Allah,
20:13the second benefit is that
20:15because of following the Messenger of Allah,
20:19our sins will be forgiven.
20:22There is another benefit of obedience.
20:25Today, in the life of materialism,
20:30when the world has become materialistic,
20:34every person is running after wealth.
20:38He has all the luxuries of the world,
20:42but he does not have the peace of his heart.
20:45He does not have the tranquility of his heart.
20:48He does not have the tranquility of his heart.
20:51Remember,
20:53where does the tranquility of the heart come from?
20:56It comes from obedience.
20:58The tranquility of the heart,
21:00the peace of the heart,
21:02comes from obedience.
21:04Allah the Almighty has stated this in the Holy Qur'an.
21:08Allah the Almighty says,
21:13Listen!
21:15The remembrance of Allah is the tranquility of the heart.
21:19When you remember Allah,
21:21because of the remembrance of Allah,
21:24you will attain comfort,
21:26tranquility,
21:28and peace of heart.
21:30This is because
21:32if we remember Allah,
21:34we will obey Allah.
21:37When we obey Allah,
21:39we will attain tranquility of the heart.
21:42We will attain comfort,
21:44tranquility of the heart.
21:46I would like to draw your attention to another important point.
21:54Today,
21:56every person asks,
22:01I am in trouble.
22:04Every fourth and fifth person says,
22:07I am constantly in trouble.
22:10I am constantly in trouble.
22:13When one problem ends,
22:15another problem starts.
22:18I am constantly in distress.
22:22I am constantly in trouble.
22:27Let's find a solution to this problem
22:30from the Holy Qur'an.
22:32Remember,
22:34the one who is constantly in trouble,
22:37constantly in distress,
22:41his solution lies in the obedience of Allah and His Messenger.
22:48This has also been mentioned in the Holy Qur'an.
22:57The one who fears Allah,
22:59Allah finds a way for him.
23:03The one who fears Allah,
23:05if he has fear in his heart,
23:07if he obeys Allah,
23:10Allah finds a way for him.
23:13Allah finds a way for him.
23:16The unity of the Ummah is one.
23:22The Ummah is one.
23:26Obedience is necessary for this.
23:30This is also a benefit of obedience.
23:33This has also been mentioned in the Holy Qur'an.
23:41Hold on to the rope of Allah firmly
23:45and do not be divided.
23:49Respected audience,
23:51here again a question arises in the context of obedience.
23:55Why should we obey?
23:59Respected audience,
24:01I will answer this question
24:03from the Hadith of the Messenger of Allah.
24:07This is a very important question
24:12and the Messenger of Allah himself
24:15has given a very important answer.
24:18He said,
24:21Imam Muslim quoted this Hadith in Sahih Muslim.
24:28The Messenger of Allah said,
24:32No one among you can be a believer
24:37until his desires are in accordance with the religion I have brought.
24:44That is, when he calls his desires,
24:47his desires, his desires
24:50in accordance with the religion of the Messenger of Allah,
24:58then his faith will be perfected.
25:03His faith will be perfected.
25:06Obedience is necessary
25:09so that you do not go after your desires
25:13but follow your desires.
25:17In the obedience of the Messenger of Allah and Allah,
25:24in the obedience of the saints and the perfect ones,
25:27as far as the obedience of Allah and His Messenger is concerned,
25:32then see what is the meaning of Tariqat?
25:36Hazrat Shah Waliullah Muhaddith Delvi says,
25:40The meaning of Tariqat is this,
25:43This is the way of the saints and the perfect ones.
25:47He says,
25:48By obeying Allah and His Messenger,
25:53by adhering to the Shariah,
25:58the effects that accumulate on the heart and the soul,
26:04that is called Tariqat.
26:07So when this is the way,
26:12it means that
26:14the whole life of the saints and the perfect ones
26:19is defined by Allah and His Messenger.
26:27Then, dear listeners,
26:29If we look at the description of Hazrat Khwaja Gharib Nawaz
26:35Atai Rasool Hazrati Khwaja Khwaja Khwaja Quddisa Sirrul Aziz
26:40If we look at the blessed life of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih II,
26:45we see that he brought in hundreds of thousands of people into the Islamic circle.
26:54Along with entering the Islamic circle,
27:00the companions of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih II,
27:05the companions of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih II,
27:08they became Atqiyas, Auliyas, and Asqiyas.
27:14The reason for their piety, their loyalty, and their chastity was that
27:21they stayed in the company of the person who always taught them obedience.
27:30Once, he was asked a question.
27:33He was asked what does it mean to have a disciple who is on the path of righteousness?
27:45He gave a very beautiful answer.
27:47He said that the meaning of having a disciple who is on the path of righteousness is that
27:53an angel cannot write his sins for twenty years.
28:01I will consider that my disciple is on the path of righteousness.
28:09He is on the path of righteousness.
28:11This was a very big claim made by Hazrat Khalifatul Masih II.
28:16This shows that they had a great level of obedience to God and the Prophet.
28:25May God grant us all the ability to be obedient to His obedience and to the Prophet's obedience.
28:41Respected audience,
28:43if we wish to come to the place of obedience of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih II,
28:53then we can see his daily routine from Tahajjud till evening.
29:01We can see that his life is full of obedience.
29:09He himself is committed to obedience.
29:13Not only does he commit himself to obedience,
29:17but also his disciples, his mediators, his believers,
29:23those who are close to him,
29:27those who come close to him,
29:29become his disciples.
29:31This is because they receive the blessings of the companionship of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih II.
29:37It means that the companionship of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih II,
29:43which Allah the Almighty has instructed,
29:45that you should be with the truthful.
29:49What does this mean?
29:51If you receive the companionship of the truthful,
29:53if you receive their companionship,
29:57then the fragrance of obedience will be in them.
30:01Allah the Almighty,
30:03because of the companionship of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih II,
30:05the fragrance of obedience will be in you as well.
30:11I would like to present an example of this.
30:13Hazrat Sheikh Saadi, who was known by the name of Allah,
30:17you have presented him about 1000 years ago.
30:21You said,
30:23I went to the bathroom.
30:25He gave me a fragrant soil.
30:31I brought it home.
30:33At night, I asked the soil,
30:35this is a philosophical discussion.
30:39I asked the soil,
30:41Are you a fragrant soil or a fragrant soil?
30:45The soil said,
30:47I am the soil.
30:49I am neither a fragrant soil nor a fragrant soil.
30:53But,
30:55but,
30:57for a few moments,
30:59I got the chance to smell the fragrance of the flower and to be with it.
31:07When I got the chance to smell the fragrance of the flower and to be with it,
31:13I did remain a soil in my place,
31:17but because of that companionship,
31:21the fragrance of that rose was created in me.
31:25The Messenger of Allah himself said,
31:29Allah is Great,
31:31and whoever is pious,
31:33righteous,
31:35and righteous,
31:37is like a perfume,
31:39is like a fragrance.
31:41This is the meaning of the Hadith.
31:45When you go to his shop,
31:47shake hands with him,
31:49even if he does not give you the fragrance,
31:53even if you do not buy the fragrance from him,
31:55but you will definitely come with the fragrance.
31:59Allah is Great.
32:01And,
32:03see,
32:05this is the Hadith of Qudsi,
32:07through which the companionship of these saints and perfect people,
32:13is clearly explained in this Hadith of Qudsi.
32:21The Messenger of Allah said,
32:25Allah, the Lord of Glory, said,
32:27My love is obligatory for those who love me.
32:31He said,
32:33My love is obligatory for those who love each other because of me.
32:39He said,
32:41My love is obligatory for those who visit each other because of me.
32:45He said,
32:47My love is obligatory for those who visit each other because of me.
32:51This is the reason that the Messenger of Allah,
32:55Hazrat Khwaja Muinuddin Chishti Ajmeri,
33:01Hazrat Sanjari,
33:03Hazrat Quddisa Sirhul Aziz,
33:05Hazrat Qutbul Awliya,
33:09Hazrat Khwaja Qutbuddin Bakhtiyar Qaqi,
33:17Hazrat Sheikh-o-Shuyukh-il-Alam,
33:21Hazrat Baba Fariduddin Masood Ganj-e-Shakar.
33:27Allah, the Lord of Glory,
