00:00I think I balance by just, I think the best thing is, I don't know, every actor has a system of playing a character and getting in and out of character.
00:18But I try to become normal as soon as I get cut. I think that keeps me sane. We joke a lot.
00:27Otherwise, knowing the medium that we are in, we lose the plot. So, I think it's good to have some fun, some pranks. It keeps the atmosphere light.
00:42You know, this question has been asked so many times. I'm pretty sure many actors have a different answer. But the honest answer is that when you're acting.
00:51So, I have seen one thing about myself. When I'm really into the scene and I really, when I catch the tune of a character, then when it's cut, I don't know what has happened.
01:05Like, was I, you know, what angle did I look at, all these things. So, I have to look at the graph. Already I have an idea. But when you're so much into it, it flows so naturally.
01:18And you, every actor comes to know when he's given a bad take. And every actor comes to know when he's given his best to his ability.
01:26So, I think there is no doubt about that. But what medium is more challenging. Web, recently I completed the last year with a web series.
01:40So, one thing I have noticed there is that it is so well thought after, the script and everything, that you have to look at the continuity on each dialogue, on each gesture.
01:50You get time there. There is a different challenge that you have to shoot the ending first. Then you have to shoot the middle portion at the end.
02:01And you have to shoot the introduction in the middle. So, you have to graph your character in that way. So, obviously you get leverage and time.
02:08The second thing is that I have noticed one thing on television and hats off to all. I have just been seeing the new crop of talent also.
02:16It takes a lot of hard work. You have to be an all-rounder. If you want to be part of television, then you need to be an all-rounder.
02:22You should know comedy, you should know dance, you should know how to cry, you should know romance and you should have patience.
02:33A lot of patience is required here because things change. Many issues happen, but you have to resolve it. Issues in the sense that,
02:41if the script comes late, then you have to do the lines quickly. If it is of daylight, then you have to do it immediately. You have to give your best.
02:51Then if there is no requirement, like we were doing a scene where the requirement was a little different, then we improvised it to our best ability.
02:59So, you have to be very careful in moving with the tide.
03:10There are a lot of memorable moments. I mean, every interaction with my fans is memorable because they love me so much and try to make me so unique.
03:19Every moment is memorable, but if I talk about a few things that I like, like they always donate during my birthday.
03:32They feed the poor or they give education to children. This is so nice. They like celebrating it like their own birthday, like their own family member's birthday.
03:44So, I like it a lot. I haven't even met some people and they are so warm and so genuine. Some people pray for me.
03:53Like, there are some fans who send me photos from Katra. They send it every day. There are some fans who, every 11-11, when 11-11 is played,
04:07they always get a tweet or a message and they make that effort, which is amazing.
04:13There are some fans who wish me good morning. Some fans made a tattoo of my name, which I don't appreciate, but thank you for the gesture.
04:20These are the things. Some fans have named stars after me. That is sweet. They make photos and sketches.
04:32So, there are many fans. Every gesture is very sweet of theirs.
04:43If I were to switch, I think I really resonate with Shah Rukh Khan. I would love to just know what it is like to be like Shah Rukh or my recent favorite Diljeet.
05:01Because I feel that I need to put in a lot of effort in my songs. So, I will be able to do that. I will also be able to do a concert.
05:08I am a big Diljeet fan. I love SRK. So, I think these two guys, I would love to be in their shoes just for a day, just to see what it's all about.
05:18And how much effort it takes and what is the fun. Because if I speak about Shah Rukh Khan, we both are night owls.
05:27So, that will be a little easy. So, I don't need to change much about myself. And I have also heard that he loves video games.
05:35And yeah, so all these things I would love to explore.
05:45Emotionally, I think both characters, whenever the emotional scene was, I had to be there a hundred percent.
05:51But I think Rab Se Dua, I was Haider's character. So, when there were monologues in it, which were not there in Thursday, because that was not the format.
05:59So, that was very taxing for me. So, it really pushed me on to the ledge in that sense.
06:06And I remember that we were shooting in the summers, we were shooting at some Khaiwai's place.
06:12So, it was so hot that we were in wedding attire, wearing a velvet suit. You had to run, chase, emote.
06:20And to work in such heat and to make it look real and not be discomforted by the extremities.
06:29So, I think that is the biggest challenge for an actor. But I guess I pulled it off reasonably okay.
