00:00Let's start off with the most valuable player award.
00:02It's a three-team race, basically, right?
00:05Three-player race, excuse me.
00:06Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, and Joe Burrow.
00:09We're not gonna pull the Joe Burrow card just yet.
00:11By the way, Joe Burrow is gonna add
00:13to his fantasy point total today.
00:14He's gonna be one of the few
00:15that we know that's gonna do that.
00:17But Lamar Jackson, his fantasy point season
00:20is at 411.4 fantasy points.
00:24Naturally, there's a chance we see some of Lamar Jackson
00:28coming up today at 430 Eastern,
00:30followed by Josh Allen, who we think is done for the year.
00:34He got 385 fantasy points.
00:37George, if you ask the average person
00:41who had the better year between these two,
00:44you ask 10 people who play fantasy football,
00:46I think you'd get six or seven that say,
00:48oh, Josh Allen definitely had a better fantasy season.
00:51He did not.
00:51It was actually Lamar Jackson who did.
00:54And it just goes to show you,
00:55I know Josh Allen's gonna win the MVP.
00:58And if Lamar had never won an MVP,
01:00I think he would win the MVP,
01:01but because he's won it before,
01:02they're gonna give it to somebody else.
01:03It's always the way that works.
01:05But clearly going into next year,
01:06you're gonna have to make a choice between one of these two.
01:09And I think these two, along with Jalen Hurts,
01:11are your top three fantasy quarterbacks
01:13going into next season.
01:14But I do think there's a huge distinction
01:16between this tier by itself with Jackson and Allen.
01:20And then I think Hurts may be in a tier by himself
01:23as the third best.
01:24And then a lot of other guys.
01:26Who do you want between these two, if you have your shot?
01:29Yeah, I pretty much agree with you about the rankings.
01:31Well, I think Jane Daniels is gonna make some,
01:34if Washington makes moves here,
01:36I think Jane Daniels is gonna be,
01:38another guy might be in a tier by himself, right behind Hurts.
01:40So Burrows in there as well,
01:42but we don't know where T. Higgins is gonna end up.
01:44And that'll certainly hurt.
01:45I agree with you about your assessment, by the way.
01:47Josh Allen's gonna win MVP,
01:49even though Lamar Jackson's numbers
01:50are better across the board, pretty much.
01:53So he actually has been technically the better quarterback,
01:56but it's gonna be Josh Allen
01:57because he hasn't won the award yet.
01:58And that is how they vote for it.
02:00I mean, let's face it.
02:02If I had a choice between these two,
02:04and I don't think I'm going to have one,
02:06I played a bunch of super flex leagues,
02:07but I don't have the first pick in any of those.
02:09I know where I'm picking already.
02:12I'm probably going with Lamar Jackson.
02:14He's become a better passer
02:16over the past couple of years, right?
02:18And I get a little bit worried.
02:21Baltimore has a history of,
02:22they don't help the passing game all that much.
02:25It's not their free agency here.
02:26Mark Andrews is getting old.
02:27I don't know how much more we can rely on him.
02:29Sort of got lucky the second half of the season.
02:31Derrick Henry does steal those touchdowns now.
02:33So that's an issue as well here.
02:36I don't think you can go wrong with either one here,
02:37but right now, I am going with Lamar Jackson,
02:40one, Josh Allen, two.
02:43Okay.
02:44Look, I don't think anybody would argue with either side.
