00:00We had been enjoying the evening, a very nice atmosphere.
00:04People were having a good time and first heard these bangs and tires squealing and looked
00:12and saw this truck start to accelerate at a high rate of speed.
00:17My wife and I were walking down the middle of the street and saw it.
00:22We were on Bourbon about a block away from Canal where the attack happened and so saw
00:28it from the beginning, heard it, and were able to essentially jump out of the way off
00:33the roadway.
00:35So the truck did miss us by just a few seconds and a few feet.
00:39So he was coming right toward you?
00:43We were in the middle of the street.
00:44The truck was coming right towards us, but luckily we did see it and hear it quickly
00:49enough to get ourselves out of the street, but unfortunately right in front of us several
00:56others did not.
