Fallen trees on Showell Lane in Meriden, Coventry. Strong winds brought down two conifers trees and a power line on Showell Lane in Meriden, Coventry. A 'Do not travel' warning has been issued in the North of England as heavy rain has flooded homes and caused disruption throughout Greater Manchester this morning, 01/01/25. Police rescue people from the A555 as multiple roads and motorways have been closed as a result of the severe flooding.
