Dramatic images show the aftermath of a tornado which tore through a city suburb uprooting trees and causing thousands of pounds of damage to homes.
The mini twister touched down in the Finham area of Coventry at around 6.30pm on Tuesday (8/10) as high winds and storms battered the area.
Terrified locals reported hearing a noises like "a bomb going off" or "a train coming" as the tornado brought down tress, removed roof riles and toppled scaffolding.
One tree, estimated to be about 100ft (30m) tall, fell into four gardens in Beanfield Avenue while several smaller trees were snapped in two "like twigs".
