i used to think
that words spoken out loud
either to the stars
or a higher entity
would create a ripple effect
it seems as though
in my case
as soon as the rock was thrown
the water beneath it vanished
leaving the rock to settle in one spot
creating no effect
no desired outcome
nothing.\n\njulia d
