00:00Wage increase from 21 pesos to 75 pesos were approved for nearly 5 million private sector
00:06workers across 14 regions in 2024 including Metro Manila, Northern Mindanao and other

00:13Based on Philippine News Agency's report, minimum wage rose to 645 pesos with a 35 pesos
00:19hike in the National Capital Region or NCR, while domestic workers in nine regions saw
00:24monthly increases of 500 pesos to 1,100 pesos.
00:29Two regions, Bicol and Davao, are yet to finalize wage orders due to local challenges.
00:35The Department of Labor and Employment or DOLE continues to promote wage clarity, productivity
00:41programs and relief mechanisms for affected businesses and workers.
