00:06But after the grand celebration last night,

00:10the garbage in the sea was the highlight this morning.

00:24Vicky, it was colorful and happy to welcome the year 2025 here in Boracay

00:29because of the grand fireworks display and New Year's party here in Boracay.

00:35But the rain hit the tourists here in Boracay on the first day of 2025.

00:54Tourists in Boracay welcomed the year 2025 with a bang.

00:59It was worth it to wait because the fireworks display by the beach was rare,

01:04which was even grander for 2025.

01:09But the garbage that was the highlight on the first day of the year,

01:13the white and fine sand of the island,

01:16was mixed with paper cups, plastic, wrappers, and bottles to be drunk.

01:21To remind the municipality,

01:23Clay go or clean as you go.

01:25They should clean themselves and bring them to the resort

01:29to reduce the garbage on the beach.

01:31So that in the morning,

01:34the visitors won't see that there's a lot of garbage here in Boracay.

01:39Earlier in the morning, instead of a sunny day, it rained.

01:43But this didn't stop those who walked on the beach.

01:47This morning, it feels refreshing that it rained.

01:51We're welcomed by the rain and it's a blessing.

01:54But at night, there's a lot of people here.

01:57It's a new experience for our family to come here.

02:04including some foreigners.

02:06It's so beautiful. I love it here. I would definitely come back.

02:19He hopes to preserve its beauty so that they can come back.

02:28just pick up the rubbish that you leave.

02:30If you want to come back to a beautiful place, you've got to keep it clean.
