00:00As Pongal, I think as like the chairman of the Mahamarayana Temple Devasthana of MPCS,
00:11the Pongal celebration will be on the 14th. That is the 14th is our real Pongal celebration,
00:17which will start from 9.30 onwards in our three management temples. But in congestion
00:23of the, we call of a unity Pongal, will jointly organized by Sri Mahamarayana Temple Devasthana
00:31with Mayimma will be held on 19th of January. This will be a unity Pongal festival, where
00:39all the temple will register under the Mayimma member will be jointly together to have a
00:45celebration. We are expecting nearly to 100 to 150 participants on the Pongal things.
00:51The part of the Pongal, we also have all our traditional games, which like we call
00:57it a pot breaking, plus will be thoranam, pinnal will be, all this will be on the Tamil
01:04event. We have so much of competition, we have until 10 competition. The reason why
01:12we are doing all this, we actually want to bring back our way of culture back to our
01:19new youth, because nowadays people have been forgetting about what is Pongal, because most
01:26of these, they've been celebrating Pongal through TikTok and Whatsapp already. So we
01:31need to bring back the traditional Pongal. That's why we are having a unity Pongal day,
01:36which is on the 19th January. On that even we are bringing so much of a cultural dance.
01:44The cultural dance was given to us by our locals also. So we have a cultural dance and
01:50also Bharatanatyam, plus the singers from India to perform on here. So this will be
01:56on the 19th January of the unity Pongal.
