कैमूर ( बिहार ) : कैमूर जिले के भगवानपुर प्रखंड के पौरा पहाड़ी पर स्थित देश के अति प्राचीन मंदिर माता मुंडेश्वरी के दर्शन पूजन के लिए नव वर्ष पर श्रद्धालुओं की भारी भीड़ पहुंची। श्रद्धालुओं को किसी प्रकार की दिक्कत ना हो उसको लेकर सुरक्षा व्यवस्था के व्यापक इंतजाम किए गए हैं।ये मंदिर इसलिए भी खास है क्योंकि ये देश में माता का सबसे पुराना मंदिर है। इसे 5वीं शताब्दी के आसपास का माना जाता है। ये मंदिर यहां होने वाली रक्तहीन बलि के लिए भी जाना जाता है। यहां बकरे की जान नहीं ली जाती।
