00:16It's a new morning, a new year.

00:19Just like other places in the Philippines,

00:22and of course, wherever in the world,

00:24our hearts are full of colors, joy, and happiness

00:31in celebrating the year 2025 here in Baguio City.

00:40Baguio City was filled with joy

00:42when residents and vacationers celebrated the new year.

00:47The noise in the city started last night

00:49at the DJ party of Baguio City LGU

00:52for the visitors attending the celebration in 2025.

00:57The vacationers were all on the dance floor,

01:00young or old.

01:03There were a lot of food stalls for the vacationers' cravings.

01:07This was followed by a concert at the Melvin Jones Grandstand,

01:10which is one of the highlights of the 2025 countdown here in Baguio City.

01:15Visitors were on their own beds and camping chairs.

01:18There were a lot of food stalls for their family picnic.

01:22They all said the same thing,

01:25that they are enjoying the celebration of the new year here in the City of Pines.

01:31We also asked them what their New Year's resolution is.

01:34Here are their statements.

01:38I wish good luck to all of us Filipinos,

01:42and I hope that this year 2025 will be healthy and strong.

01:47I wish for good health for my family.

01:51I want to be rich and have a good family.

02:07Ivana, we are here at Bernham Park in Baguio City.

02:11Yesterday, around this time,

02:13a lot of our fellow Filipinos came here

02:15because they are enjoying the remaining time of their stay here.

02:18Most of them are going back to their hometowns today.

02:25But now, the celebration of 2025 has just ended.

02:29Only a few of those who are here at Bernham Park,

02:32and those who are on the road,

02:34we can only count.

02:36But we can still see those who are enjoying boat riding,

02:39those who are biking,

02:41and those who are just taking pictures with their family.

02:44It's a new year, but nothing has changed.

02:46It's still cold here in Baguio City.

02:48As of now, the temperature here in the summer capital of the Philippines is 15 degrees Celsius.
