00:00Let's start with the quarterback.
00:04Who stands out to you and why?
00:07Well last week, I can't tell you how many questions I got about Jaden Daniels.
00:10Do I start Jaden Daniels?
00:11He's going against the Eagles.
00:12Eagles defense is so good, to which I just constantly just shook people and said, what
00:16are you crazy?
00:17Why?
00:18Why?
00:19What is your problem?
00:20Of course you're starting Jaden Daniels.
00:21So Jaden Daniels is a must start every single week.
00:23You leave him alone.
00:24He's a top five fantasy quarterback.
00:26And guess what?
00:27He was QB one last week.
00:29Also an interesting trend here with him, uh, it could, it could be a little bit of the
00:33mix of the opponents, but you know, the Eagles defense that we just talked about pretty damn
00:38good.
00:39Last week he had five touchdowns.
00:40This week he gets the Atlanta Falcons.
00:41Uh, again, he is at home.
00:43Now what's so interesting about this is, well, last week he was at home.
00:46He was QB one before the by, he was at home for two games against Dallas and against Tennessee.
00:51He finishes QB one and QB two overall in fantasy in those games.
00:56So don't look now kids.
00:58But Jaden Daniels is going to finish in the last couple of weeks, possibly as the over
01:02one QB one in terms of fantasy points in the playoffs or in that stretch run at least.
01:09So a really intriguing situation here with Jaden Daniels and, and a guy who are, he could
01:14not be a more polar opposite feel to Caleb Williams.
01:18Uh, if you were watching the hard knocks and this is something that we talked about that
01:22giants hard knocks where they had everybody sit down for the interviews.
01:26No, the Caleb Williams interview was one thing.
01:28And then the Jaden Daniels interview was another, and it just seemed to be this energy coming
01:32off this kid that was infectious, the guy that you wanted to get under center, play
01:37football with, get in the huddle and run a play.
01:39And I can't help but wonder why I can see these things and organizations that are paying
01:45millions of dollars can't, and they make decisions like taking guys like Caleb Williams or guys
01:50like Kyler Murray, who we're going to talk about, you know, in the next segment of the
01:53show too.
01:54That just seemed like they're really good at football and they're playing it because
01:56they're really good at football, but don't love football necessarily, or don't seem to
01:59give that passion off to their teammates.
02:01It doesn't seem to rub off on anybody.
02:04Jane Daniels is infectious and it matters.
02:06His talent is off the charts.
02:09That's number one, but you can find a lot of talent.
02:11I think it's what's between the ears at the end of the day.
02:14And sometimes what's in the heart of a guy at the quarterback position that makes all
02:17the difference in the world.
02:19And that's why you have to look past the numbers.
02:20I think sometimes on some of these guys when you're evaluating them, and that's why I was
02:24so high on Jane Daniels going into the year.
02:25If you go back, Matt, how much did we talk about the rookie of the year, Caleb Williams
02:29at the top, right?
02:30Just about minus what, 110 for that award.
02:33And who was sitting there in the third spot at plus 650, Jane Daniels, and we were screaming
02:37and yelling, Jane Daniels plus 650.
02:39That's the value.
02:40That's the dude.
02:41That's the guy.
02:42Well, that number is long gone.
02:44And so was the rookie of the year.
02:45It's Jane Daniels, period.
02:47End of story.
02:48I know we had a mixed bag last night.
02:49Some really good moments, though, and Bo Nix has played way past my expectations.
02:54But Jane Daniels' season, I think, deserves a lot more attention, even than it's getting.
02:58He has been terrific.
02:59And it's another great matchup for him in Atlanta, and hopefully he wins some people
03:01some fantasy championships today.
