00:08So it keeps pointing back to me that the Washington quarterback might be a good play, but let's
00:12talk Terry McLaurin and his bust ability for Monday.
00:15Yeah, look, this is a tough situation here, I think with the Bengals team that really
00:20needs a W. So I think Washington's kind of running into worst case scenario timing right
00:25here.
00:26But the good news is if they are behind, it's an opportunity for Jaden Daniels to really
00:30start letting loose with the football a little bit.
00:32And if you're down by two touchdowns, you got to start throwing the ball deep.
00:35He has the lowest, one of the lowest a dots to the NFL right now, the average depth of
00:39target because he hasn't really gotten the confidence yet to go deep, which is something
00:43he did very well in college and he had a lot of receiver help to do it.
00:47He's got receiver help here in Washington.
00:49The trouble is so far, it's a matter of confidence and a matter of getting comfortable at this
00:54level.
00:55I don't think that's hurt Terry McLaurin here in the early going.
00:58There is a circumstance where that happens and all of a sudden, Terry McLaurin starts
01:01to pop a little bit in week three.
01:04But until that happens, I think you're safer to bench him and look for some other guys
01:08that can help you a little bit more.
01:09I'm gonna tell you the truth, even a guy like Jawan Jennings, who has an opportunity now
01:13is the number two wide receiver in this San Francisco 49er offense.
01:18He's probably a better start this week than Terry McLaurin this particular week, this
01:22particular matchup.
01:23So it's not that Terry McLaurin you should release and I should get rid of him, but it's
01:27taking a little time for Jaden Daniels to get comfortable throwing the football to people
01:31outside of the tight ends and the running backs.
01:34And you've got to get to a point here where eventually you let Jaden Daniels make some
01:38mistakes because if you're going to let a rookie start, they're going to make some mistakes,
01:42but he's got to get a little bit more disciplined to stay in the pocket and look for a place
01:46to develop.
01:47That's the other problem too, is he's too quick to run sometimes and that is going to
01:51take away a lot of those passing opportunities in the passing game for guys like Terry McLaurin
01:57to have successful fantasy days.
01:58So until further notice, at least in week three, I think Terry McLaurin's a guy that
02:02you can consider sitting based upon what else you have on your bench.
