00:00One of the two Malaysian detainees who was sent home from the Guantanamo Bay detention centre

00:07has written various forms of torture carried out by the Central Distribution Agency agents.

00:13Farid Amin has been writing this record for the last five years of his detention

00:18on the advice of Christine Fang, a lawyer assigned to him by the US authorities.

00:25Farid and Nazir Lab were each sentenced to 23 years in prison

00:30for their role in the bombing of Bali in 2002, killing 202 people.

00:36According to the document that has been classified,

00:40the two detainees told the court about the cruel tactics used by the CIA agents

00:46while they were held alone in a secret prison in Afghanistan for three and a half years.

00:53Farid told the court that his torture began as he was detained in Bangkok, Thailand in 2003.

01:00He told how he was chased and tied to the floor for months,

01:05often forced to throw small and large water in the same place because he could not move.

01:11Farid also said that he was beaten, suffered severe pain and was insulted throughout his detention,

01:18which caused him to often have nightmares about his experience.

01:22Farid and Nazir returned to Malaysia last week

01:26after almost 20 years of solitary confinement in a mobile prison.
