" Overseas Pakistanio Se Tarseelat Zar Ko Kam Karne Ki Cal Kal Se Qabil Amal Ho Chuki Hai, "
Transcript
00:00Let me tell you one thing. I told you a couple of things because when we talked about Sanjani,
00:05I knew that the offer on the table was that if we sit with Sanjani, then we will run some negotiated things.
00:14And there were two or three things in it. One was that political prisoners will be released once and for all.
00:20For example, Yasmin Rashid Sahiba will be allowed to go home on humanitarian grounds.
00:30Women will be allowed to go home.
00:32People of old age will be allowed to go home.
00:36Every third day, something or the other happens in jail.
00:40They close the room for four days.
00:43They turn off the electricity.
00:44All the irritating things will be turned off.
00:47They will be made comfortable.
00:49This will continue.
00:52Secondly, their wives will be softened because it is a very sensitive matter for them.
01:00And there is still a debate about what to do with them in this £190 million case.
01:07Believe me, this is not a decision that is being delayed.
01:10They are still in a quandary over that.
01:12And these things are still on the table.
01:15The government cannot give you anything more than this.
01:18Is this good enough?
01:20Because this decision is that they do not afford to let Mr. Khan come out at any cost.
01:26So short of that, is there any success in the negotiations?
01:29If Imran Khan is not released, then whatever negotiations are taken, will they be successful or unsuccessful?
01:38Look, before entering into our two negotiations, we had put forward two of our demands.
01:45Not five or six, just two.
01:47Number one, the release of political prisoners who have been imprisoned for more than 500 days.
01:55And number two, the unfortunate incidents of 9th of May and 26th of November.
02:03And a transparent and impartial investigation so that this matter reaches its logical conclusion.
02:10So, will the PTI be satisfied with anything less than this?
02:15So let me say at the very outset and say it very assertively that no.
02:18There are other demands as well.
02:20And the meeting on 2nd of January, you must have heard it yourself.
02:24The government has also made a statement that we will give our demands in written form to the Speaker.
02:33Are you time-bounding these meetings?
02:36Because it suits the government.
