00:00Texas roll Clemson beat him by 14. I thought it was easy work for them as well. They look
00:09fantastic. They're going to be hard to beat I think in the next round as well.
00:15They are going to be hard to beat moving forward. That's for sure. 3824 was the final. Now Clemson
00:20did get this to a seven point game early in the fourth quarter. This was after it was
00:2631-10. 3124 blew with the 77 yard run for Texas. Clemson was knocking on the door of
00:32a cover again down by the goal line but was turned away and Texas able to hold on for
00:38the 14 point win. A lot of complaining about all these first round playoff games this weekend
00:43but Sark says maybe it's just because his team won. That's probably why he's happy.
00:48He thought it was awesome.
00:49What an environment for college football this was. From the moment we pulled up on the buses,
00:55our Bevo walk, you could feel the energy. The crowd was tremendous. It was a great atmosphere.
01:02I think college football got this one right. As much as we critique some of the things
01:08that are happening in our game right now, this idea of a home playoff game with this
01:1412 team format, this was pretty special and one that we were humbled and honored to be
01:18part of here at DKR. I hope everybody enjoyed that because we surely did.
01:24Well, everybody's been talking about Arch Manning but they go with Ewers. I thought
01:29he did a good job. Here they are into the next round and now we'll find out what they're
01:34made of when they play a tougher opponent. So, I guess Texas, it was easy and now you
01:39look at Ohio State, you talk about easy. They really got it on in the shoe. They made Tennessee
01:46look awful.
01:49They made Tennessee look so bad. It's hard to compare who had the worst performance between
01:54SMU and Tennessee. I think it might have been Tennessee just because SMU, the quarterback
02:00was handing them the ball at the beginning and that got the game out of hand. I didn't
02:03think SMU's defense played that bad in the game. But Tennessee on all facets was absolutely
02:09drubbed. 42-17, Buckeyes win at the shoe. Ryan Day has been under a lot of fire as we
02:15know. He wanted to make sure that the Buckeyes left no doubt.
02:19There were a couple of points in the game where there were a couple of calls and different
02:24things where in the past when you have one of these games, it comes down to the last
02:28play. You can look to those as game-altering plays. But when you leave no doubt, nobody
02:33will talk about those plays because we did. There were a few opportunities in this game
02:37to do that very thing. Fourth down stop. There was again those drives right there in
02:46the third quarter that I felt like allowed us an opportunity to pull away when the defense
02:49was getting stops.
02:51So now they finally look like the team that everybody thinks they are. They're a contender
02:56to win it all. They look like it. It was the first game they played where they looked really
03:01sharp I thought from belly to belly. The whole game they looked good. And they didn't look
03:06good against Michigan. I thought they looked good against Indiana. But they looked even
03:10better against Tennessee.
03:14They certainly did. Dominating performance by the Buckeyes. Dominating performance by
03:17really all the home teams throughout the opening weekend. We said there was a lot of people
03:22bellyaching about some of the games and teams not being in. Did you see any of Lane Kiffin's
03:29handiwork over the weekend on social media? It seemed like he was chiming in during and
03:36after every game saying making snide comments at the committee about how what a riveting
03:42game this is and how this is just great. Most people or some people I should say looked
03:48at it as sour grapes from Lane because his team wasn't playing it. What did you think
03:53of it?
03:54That's exactly what it was. He didn't get a go. So he's mad and he had all the snide
03:59comments. It is what it is. It doesn't matter. They're not in it. So you lose. Cry me a river.
04:05Go do something else. Go play in another bowl game. Win a game that matters. Bottom
04:11line is anyone that's still ripping the teams that got into it, you lose. That's it. All
04:17there is to it. Indiana didn't win. So what? SMU didn't win. So what? They made it. You
04:23didn't. It is what it is.
04:27Gotta go cry. I guess he decided to cry for everyone to see.
