00:00That is so well said.
00:02This is the first time in Disney history
00:04that a Disney princess has been allowed to age.
00:07I was cast when I was 14.
00:08I turn 24 tomorrow.
00:11Yeah, so I've had a decade with this character
00:14and admittedly, my voice has changed.
00:17I have aged.
00:18And so I, of course, remember doing the film at 15,
00:24the film coming out when I was 16,
00:25but I've also done multiple records for firework shows
00:28and for Disney on Ice and Disney Lego Princess.
00:31And I always pitch my voice back up.
00:33And I was wondering for this sequel
00:35if I would have to do the same
00:37for the entirety of an hour and 30 minute long movie,
00:41but they allowed me to keep my voice
00:42in its natural register.
00:44I feel like we see her growth,
00:45not only then through my voice,
00:47but also through storyline and through music as well.
00:50And it's so nice to see women age.
00:53Yes.
00:54I watched the original right after and I was like,
00:56I actually got emotional hearing how your voice has changed
00:59and I was like, oh, it's really beautiful.
01:02It's incredible how youth can really be heard through voice.
01:06That was one of the main things that I remember.
01:08I watched the film as well,
01:09just our OG first film and I went, oh my goodness.
01:13Her journey then was about finding who she was
01:16and now it's about her growing,
01:19growing and realizing the journey ahead
01:21will not be easy and straightforward.
01:26And I think that's what's so beautiful about it.
01:28I think that's what's so beautiful about it.
01:30I think that's what's so beautiful about it.
01:31I think that's what's so beautiful about it.
01:32I think that's what's so beautiful about it.
