Superman: 20 things you may have missed when watching the teaser trailer

Christopher Reeve's Clark Kent
The characterization of that clumsy Clark Kent, always late, tripping over things and bumping into people, is back. We see the clear inspiration in the shy and funny way that was immortalized by Christopher Reeve.
James Gunn warned that the film will be full of tributes and references, and right at the beginning we see one of them.

Daily Planet
As you can see, we will see a classic Daily Planet, which also pays tribute to its first characterization seen in Superman - The Movie, from 1978.
The journalist's life took a back seat in the hero's last films, and it's good to see that side of him back in the next film.

Revamped Classic John Williams Soundtrack
Well, there's no one who doesn't recognize John Williams' famous Superman soundtrack, and you can already hear a little bit of it, revamped with a soulful guitar.
Gunn knows how to play with our emotions, and you can be sure that the soundtrack will be included at the right moments in the plot.

Margot Kidder's Lois Lane
Just as David Corenswet embodied Christopher Reeve's look and mannerisms, Rachel Brosnahan also looked very similar to Margot Kidder's Lois Lane.
Lois is one of the anchors of Superman's humanity, and it's clear that she will have a prominent role.

The Kent Farm
You can't make a Superman movie without showing where he got his humanity reference. The Kent Farm is where the alien became one of us.
This is an important part of Superman, so much so that it has never been left out of any adaptation.

Jonathan Kent
Of course, the Kents are also important, and although Martha didn't show up, we can see a little of Pruitt Taylor Vince's Jonathan Kent.
From the brief image, it's possible that we'll see Pa Kent again, sick and almost dying.

Cat Grant
Lois Lane's rival journalist, who will be played by Mikaela Hoover in the film, is an interesting dramatic point for the development of Clark and Lois's relationship.
For those who don't see her, she's right there, in a brown skirt. Here, Gunn is also looking at future stories.

Krypto
Superman's little dog was never shown in the films, and he appears precisely at the moment when the Man of Steel needs him most.
As he demonstrated in Guardians of the Galaxy, Gunn has a knack for handling non-human characters, especially cute little animals.

Pure heroism
One of the things that was most missing in the Snyderverse was pure heroism from Superman, without deaths. Here we see a classic scene of him sacrificing himself to save a child.
The Superman that James Gunn is building wants to bring optimism back.

Luthor and LuthorCorp
Well, there's no way to have a Superman movie without his greatest human rival being in the plot, and here we see Nicholas Hoult's Lex Luthor's LuthorCorp.
The characterization, including the corporate side, seems much more faithful than Jesse Eisenberg's previous one in the Snyderverse.

Symbol of Hope
