00:00The Supreme Court rejected the appeal of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Hannah Yeoh,

00:05who accused the former head of state police, Musa Hassan, of slandering her by saying that she tried to make Malaysia a Christian country.

00:14Arzia Abandi, the Supreme Court judge, said Yeoh failed to prove the case based on the balance of evidence.

00:22Arzia said Musa's speech in a forum at UITM on 30 January 2020

00:28was not specifically referring to Yeoh, and most of her statements referred to other people.

00:34The court also took note of the forum, which was broadcast directly on Facebook,

00:39had less than 1% involvement, and added that she also found Musa's statements not malicious.

00:47Yeoh appealed to Musa in 2020 for her claim that she tried to turn Malaysia into a Christian country.

00:54Musa was accused of saying in a forum that an unnamed group tried to destroy Islam in this country.

01:01She said the group had something to do with the DAP.

01:05Judge Yeoh said they would present an appeal on the decision today.
