00:00One day, in the hundred acre wood, Winnie the Pooh was going for a quiet walk with his
00:10good friend Christopher Robin.
00:12Oh bother, there's a rumbly in my tumbly.
00:17You're always hungry Pooh Bear, I know, why don't you try thinking of something besides
00:24your tummy?
00:25That's a very good idea Christopher Robin, now I wonder what else I could think about.
00:31Well you could remember some of your favourite times.
00:34Oh yes, now think, think, think, well I think my favourite times are always the friendliest
00:44times and birthday parties are very friendly indeed.
00:49And so, to forget his hunger, Winnie the Pooh decided to remember a few birthday parties
00:55by looking at his friend's birthday scrapbooks.
01:06Now to forget about being hungry, Winnie the Pooh remembered the birthday of one of his
01:12very dear friends.
01:17Today is Piglet's birthday, I better go see if he needs help getting ready for his party.
01:24Say there sonny, if you want to visit Piglet, it's going to be a problem.
01:30Gotta open the gate first, you know.
01:33Personally, I'd use the key on the tree stump.
01:40Perfect, with that key, opening the gate will be simple.
01:52Spectacular, now you better skeedaddle on out of here and go see Piglet.
01:59Last time I saw him, he looked worried.
02:06Why hello Pooh Bear, are you going to visit Piglet today?
02:10Oh yes, as today is his birthday, I thought it would be the perfect day to pay him a birthday visit.
02:18Oh he'll be very happy to see you, but do be careful dear, one of the boards is missing
02:23on the bridge to his house, it should be replaced.
02:30The path's blocked, gonna have to push this box out of the way if you want to get by.
02:38Superb, now the path is clear as a whistle.
02:45Oh, say there sonny, that tummy of yours sure is making a lot of noise.
03:03The Heffalumps will know just where you are, better skeedaddle away from them.
03:09Oh brother, I don't suppose you know how to frighten away a Heffalump?
03:14Of course I do, I'm an expert, just find a balloon and pop it, that's sure to make them run away.
03:26Well, gonna have to start again, balloons gotta get popped you know.
03:34Superb, if I do say so myself, now you can sightsee in peace.
03:41And don't forget, if those Heffalumps come after you again, just find yourself a balloon and pop it.
03:55Say, are those bees stopping you from passing by?
04:00Well, you've come to the right place, I've found just the way to make them skeedaddle.
04:07All you have to do is bring them the number of honeypots they're asking for.
04:13Honeypots? I don't suppose you might know where I could find some honeypots that is?
04:19Certainly do, they're everywhere, just look around, you're sure to find some.
04:31Stupendous, all the bees have skeedaddled.
04:37Next time they bother you, bring them some more of those honeypots.
05:00Happy birthday Piglet, are you having a happy birthday so far?
05:15I am, I mean I would be, except you see Pooh, I lost my broom and now I can't sweep up for my birthday party.
05:25Oh don't worry Piglet, I believe Kenga has a broom, I shall just go ask her if we may borrow it.
05:32Oh, thank you Pooh Bear.
05:35Oh Kenga, could I possibly borrow your broom, I'm afraid that Piglet has misplaced his.
05:42Well, I'm still doing my housework Pooh, but I'll give it to you just as soon as I'm done.
05:47While I finish up, would you be a dear and go look for Roo, it's time for his snack.
05:53Well I'd be happy to Kenga, now where is he?
05:58I believe he's playing in front of your house.
06:02Roo, I'm glad I found you, I was just visiting Kenga and she said it's time for your snack.
06:10But look Pooh Bear, I've been trying to catch butterflies to bring to Piglet's birthday party and I haven't caught any yet.
06:18And I haven't been much of a help.
06:22Well perhaps you and I could try to catch the butterflies together.
06:26Oh would you please?
06:28Well I'll give it a try, probably make a mistake though.
06:33I just know you can do it.
06:40Oh boy, we're going to catch butterflies.
06:44Oh that was great, look at all the butterflies I got.
06:48They can fly all around at Piglet's party and now I can go home for my snack.
06:53Guess I'll go look for some sticks to rebuild my house again.
07:00I shall go with you Roo, perhaps Kenga has finished her housework.
07:07Pooh dear, thank you for finding Roo and I've just finished my housework, so you may take my broom now.
07:14Thank you Kenga, this will make Piglet very happy.
07:30Thank you Pooh Bear, I feel much better now.
07:34And when I have a broom, I just know I'll feel even better.
07:39Here you are Piglet.
07:41Oh a broom, how wonderful, now I can sweep my house from top to bottom.
07:46And I shall help you Piglet, then your house will be the perfect place to have the perfect birthday party.
07:54And indeed Pooh Bear remembered that Piglet's birthday party was one of the most perfect ever.
08:06And as Pooh remembered his friend Roo's birthday,
08:09he forgot all about his hungry tummy.
08:15Today is Roo's birthday and I haven't found a present for him yet.
08:19I think I shall ask Kenga if she knows what Roo likes best.
08:25Hello Kenga, I'm trying to find a surprise to give Roo for his birthday,
08:31and I thought you might know what he likes best.
08:34Oh, how kind of you Pooh Bear.
08:37I know Roo would really like to learn how to do Tigger's whoop-dee-dooper bounce.
08:41That would be a very nice present for you to give him.
08:44Oh that's a wonderful idea Kenga, but I think I shall need Tigger to help me.
08:49I'm not certain where Tigger is, but perhaps you could ask Rabbit.
08:54I know he's in the forest.
08:57Hello Rabbit, have you seen Tigger by any chance?
09:01Have you seen Tigger by any chance?
09:04Tigger? Why yes Pooh Bear, he's at home.
09:07Oh, but wait a minute, I'm afraid you can't get there.
09:10You see, all of Tigger's bouncing has caused a landslide and blocked the path,
09:15and without a shovel, well it's impossible to get by.
09:19I wonder where I could find a shovel.
09:22Well I'm sure I saw one on the way to Piglet's house.
09:26You'll need a turn handle to make the bridge come down though.
09:32Hmph.
09:42Oh bother, I can't seem to pull this shovel out of the ground.
09:47I suppose I shall need some help.
09:51Oh Gopher, could you help me pull this shovel out?
09:55Why certainly, I'll push it up from below and you grab it.
10:00Have to hurry though, can't help you for very long you know, got rules about such things.
10:10Thank you Gopher.
10:12Well, glad to be of help Sonny.
10:17Oh if you're looking for Tigger, I believe he went this way.
10:31Oh.
10:35Oh, hello Tigger.
10:37Hello there Pooh.
10:39Tigger, I was just wondering, do you think you could teach Roo how to do your whoop-dee-dooper bounce for his birthday?
10:49Of course I can Pooh, after all, bounce is what Tigger's do best, but first I need your help.
10:56I started bouncing and now, well, I can't stop.
11:02I see, but how can I help you, Tigger?
11:06Well, if you took this key, you might find something useful to unbounce me over by my house.
11:14Oh, no bother, the key dropped, but I shall go and look for it.
11:21Goodbye Tigger.
11:24Help, Buddy Bear, please, you've just got to find that key.
11:40Oh.
11:42Oh.
11:46Oh, this machine is driving me crazy, I just can't seem to get it to work.
11:59Oh, thank goodness.
12:01You know I love bouncing, but stopping's good too.
12:05And now I can...
12:08Whoops, I think we've got another predicament.
12:12Oh dear, don't worry Tigger, I shall go and ask Rabbit for help.
12:17Oh, thanks Pooh Boy, I'm sure old Long Earth has just the thing for unsticking a Tigger.
12:24Excuse me, Rabbit, but I don't suppose you might have something that I could use to unstick Tigger?
12:32Oh, I have just the thing.
12:35This stick is perfect for unsticking things.
12:38Now, if I could just get this machine to work.
12:41Could I help?
12:43Oh yes, yes, you must push these levers in the right order.
12:48But I've forgotten what order that is.
12:52Oh.
12:57Hooray, my machine is working again, thank you Pooh Bear.
13:02Oh, I almost forgot.
13:04Here's the stick to help you unstick Tigger.
13:07Well, now I must get back to watering my carrots.
13:13Oh, thank you Pooh, you're the bestest buddy Bear-O-Fella could have.
13:20Uh, Pooh?
13:22No bother, now I'm stuck.
13:25Don't worry buddy Bear, I'll go get Gopher.
13:28He's kind of handy at unsticking things, you know.
13:39Well, I'd better be real stealthy-like, so nobody sees me.
13:46Hey, you're just the Gopher I was looking for.
13:49Oh, Pooh Bear's stuck in one of your Gopher-y type holes.
13:52Hmm, sounds like a job for someone with my excavation skills.
13:58I'll get right on it.
13:59Oh, thanks Gopher.
14:01Well, I guess I'll just wait for you here then.
14:07Yep, there you are.
14:09And, uh, watch where you're going next time.
14:12That's very good advice, Gopher.
14:16Now, Shunny, I think that Tigger fellow's waiting for you.
14:24We've got to hurry, Pooh Bear.
14:26Little Roo's birthday party is just about ready to get started.
14:34Happy birthday, Roo!
14:36Tigger! Pooh! You're here!
14:39Well, of course we are, Little Roo.
14:41And we got here just in time for me to teach you the whoop-dee-dooper bounce.
14:47Oh, Tigger, that would be the best birthday present ever!
14:54And indeed, Pooh remembered that Roo's birthday party was a great success.
15:03So Winnie the Pooh remembered the birthday of his friend, Tigger,
15:06and forgot all about his rumbly-tumbly.
15:12Hello, Roo. Are you ready for Tigger's birthday?
15:18Oh, no, Pooh. Two of the Tigger costumes blew away.
15:22And we need them for Tigger's surprise birthday picture.
15:25Oh, dear. It seems to me that we shall need all the costumes to take the picture.
15:31Hey, maybe my mama saw where the costumes blew to.
15:35I think she's over by Piglet's house.
15:39Hello, Eeyore. How are you today?
15:43No better, no worse.
15:45Trying to catch these butterflies.
15:48Kind of hard to catch them without a net, though.
15:53Pooh, you've come at just the right time.
15:56The costume is on the other side of this ravine.
15:58I'm afraid it's impossible to reach.
16:01Now, I'm sure Owl could help.
16:04Oh, but it seems the path to his house is blocked by thorns.
16:08Here, Pooh, take the key to my shed.
16:11There are tools in there that could help you.
16:35Uh-huh.
16:37Hello, Pooh.
16:39Oh, I'm very glad I found you, Owl.
16:42You see, I was wondering if you could help us cross the ravine near Piglet's house.
16:48Oh, dear boy, I would love to, but I don't have the time just now.
16:53I'm certain I can think of something, though.
16:56Why don't you catch a few butterflies with this net?
16:59Then they could pick up Piglet and take him over the ravine.
17:03Genius idea, if I do say so myself.
17:06Thanks for bringing me the butterfly, Net Pooh.
17:10Why, certainly, Eeyore.
17:12In fact, I think I need to catch some butterflies, too.
17:16So I thought perhaps we could catch them together.
17:19Sounds fine to me.
17:21Gotta be quick, though.
17:23The butterflies are flying extra fast today.
17:28Oh!
17:30Thank you for your help, Eeyore.
17:32You're welcome, Pooh.
17:34Glad to do it.
17:36Now I shall take these butterflies to Piglet.
17:39Sounds like a good idea to me.
17:47Oh, the butterflies are lifting me up!
17:51Oh, d-d-d-d-dear!
17:53F-f-f-f-lump!
17:55Perhaps if I use one of my very scary faces,
17:58I might be able to chase it away.
18:10Oh!
18:12Oh, dear!
18:14Oh, dear!
18:16Oh, dear!
18:18Huh?
18:26Oh, this is perfect!
18:28Oh, yes. Thank you, Piglet.
18:30Oh, you're welcome, Pooh.
18:32Now, Pooh dear, you get the costume,
18:35and I'll wait for you in front of my house.
18:38The costume is on the other side of the ravine, Pooh.
18:43Hmm.
18:47That's wonderful, dear.
18:49Now we're only missing one costume,
18:52and I think that I just saw it flying towards the mountain behind Owl's house.
18:57Pooh dear, the second costume is on top of the mountain,
19:01near Owl's house.
19:05No bother.
19:07I shall never be able to get through.
19:09Oh, I wonder if Piglet could,
19:11seeing as he is a rather small animal.
19:15Piglet, I think I need your help.
19:19Of course, Pooh. I'd be happy to help you.
19:22You see, I need to go up the mountain,
19:25but the path is far too narrow for a bear of my stoutness.
19:30Oh, I'll help you clear the path.
19:40There you are, Pooh.
19:42Now you can go up the mountain.
19:44Oh, thank you, Piglet.
19:46Certainly, Pooh.
19:48Goodness, I'm rather tired now.
19:50Maybe I'll take a little nap before Tigger's party.
20:10Oh!
20:14Oh!
20:18How wonderful, dear.
20:20You've gathered all the costumes.
20:22Now we can take the surprise picture for Tigger's birthday.
20:25Oh, I hope he likes it.
20:29Look at all my Tiggerific friends.
20:31Why, this is the bestest birthday present I ever got.
20:35And indeed, Pooh remembered that Tigger's birthday party
20:39was one of the most enjoyable ever.
20:44Remembering Eeyore's birthday
20:47helped Pooh Bear forget about the rumbly in his tumbly.
20:55Why, hello, Eeyore.
20:57I hope you're having a very happy birthday.
21:00Not especially.
21:02Didn't start off very well.
21:05My house fell down again.
21:08And it's still not fixed.
21:11No.
21:13Perhaps something will come along to make your day better.
21:18We have a very special surprise for Eeyore today.
21:22And I shall go see how it is coming along.
21:27Pooh Bear, thank goodness, it's you.
21:30That mother frog misses her little ones
21:32and she's making so much noise I can't get any rest.
21:36You absolutely must take the little frogs back to their mother.
21:40Just a Pooh Bear I was hoping to see.
21:43We got trouble, buddy boy.
21:45Eeyore's secret-like surprise is about to be ruined.
21:48Oh, dear.
21:49Perhaps I should try to cross the bridge and save it.
21:53Looks like that bridge needs a turn-in with a turn-type handle.
21:56I'll bounce off and see if I can find one for you.
22:11Oh, thank you, Tigger.
22:13You're welcome, Pooh.
22:15Now, you've got to go find little Piglet.
22:17He's gotten depressed, you know.
22:27Oh, we missed again.
22:30Hello, Roo.
22:31Hello, Eeyore.
22:32Are you playing a game today?
22:34Nope, not a game.
22:36We're trying to catch these frogs
22:39so we can take them back to their mother.
22:42Yeah.
22:43She keeps calling them
22:44and her calls are stopping Mr. Rabbit from getting rest.
22:47Sure would be helpful if we had a turn-type handle.
22:51If only we had a jar.
22:53Yup.
22:54It'd make it easier to catch the frogs.
22:59A jar!
23:00This will be very helpful for catching the frogs.
23:07I know, Pooh Bear.
23:09Why don't you help Eeyore catch the frogs?
23:12Oh, no.
23:13I can't.
23:14I've got to go.
23:15I've got to go.
23:16I've got to go.
23:17I've got to go.
23:18I've got to go.
23:19I've got to go.
23:21Oh, that sounds rather fun.
23:25Gonna have to be quick.
23:27The frogs like to hide.
23:33Hooray!
23:34You did it!!
23:36Glad I could help.
23:38Suppose I'll go back to fixing my house now?
23:42And I shall take these frogs to their mother.
23:45That's a great idea, Pooh Bear.
23:48Oh, thank you, Pooh Bear. At last, a little peace and quiet. Now, I can get some rest.
24:18Oh, Pooh, look! This rock is going to fall. And when it falls, it will fall on Eeyore's present.
24:33Don't worry, Piglet. I'll see what I can do.
24:38This passage is a bit too narrow for me, but perhaps Piglet could get through.
24:45Oh, Piglet, it seems that our path is blocked, and only a very small animal such as yourself can get through.
24:53Oh, all right, Pooh Bear. I'll try and help.
25:13I'm very glad we saved Eeyore's present, but now it seems that we are stuck.
25:20Pooh Bear, I think I can get through.
25:24I'll go and get a stick to clear the way.
25:41I never knew that I was so strong.
25:44Oh, yes, Piglet, and you were very brave, too.
25:48Now, I shall go get Eeyore so that we can give him his present.
25:54Happy birthday, Eeyore. We have a very special surprise for you.
25:59A surprise?
26:01Yes, and if you follow me, we can surprise you with it.
26:08Happy birthday, Eeyore. We have a surprise for you.
26:12Oh, yes, a secret surprise.
26:15Oh, look, a new house. Just what I wanted. Thank you.
26:21Oh, you're very welcome, Eeyore.
26:24And indeed, Pooh Bear remembered that Eeyore's birthday surprise was one of the best ever.
26:33And so, to forget about being hungry, Pooh remembered his own birthday.
26:43Today is my birthday, and I think I should like to go on a treasure hunt.
26:49But you see, I'm not certain how to begin.
26:54Perhaps Owl would know, but I shall need to find the key to his gate.
26:59I wonder if it is near Kanga's house.
27:03Digger, how did you get all the way over there?
27:07By bouncing a course.
27:09Say, why don't you join me, Pooh? I'll go find a way to make a bridge for you.
27:29There you go, Pooh Bear. The bridge is all ready for crossing.
27:34Thank you, Digger. I don't mention it.
27:37Now it's time for me to bounce on out of here.
27:45Hello, Pooh Bear. Today seems like a good day to collect wood, if you like that sort of thing, which I do.
28:00Oh, bother. Those birds have taken my key. Perhaps Eeyore could help me get it back.
28:09Eeyore, do you suppose you could help me catch those birds?
28:14You see, they have taken a key, which I am in need of.
28:19Sure, Pooh. Better take the butterfly net, though. Probably come in handy.
28:30Oh!
28:33You're a very good friend, Eeyore. With this key, I can now go visit Owl.
28:39Glad to help, Pooh.
28:43Oh!
28:51Hello, Owl. Today is my birthday, you know.
28:55And for my birthday, I thought that I would like to go on a treasure hunt.
29:00Ha ha! A treasure hunt! Oh, marvelous idea.
29:05And I know just the thing you need. A treasure map.
29:10A treasure map. Oh, yes. I don't suppose you might know where I could find one?
29:16Of course I do, dear boy. Let's see. Yes, yes.
29:22I distinctly remember seeing such a map hidden in some shrubs.
29:27Hmm.
29:36I don't seem to have enough honey pots. Perhaps I'd better find a few more.
29:43Oh!
29:52No bother. The passage in these shrubs is a bit too small for a rather stout bear to get through.
29:59Maybe I can make it wider for you, Pooh.
30:02Oh, that would be very helpful indeed, Piglet.
30:13I did it, Pooh Bear!
30:15Thank you very much, Piglet. Now I can get through easily.
30:19Oh, I'm glad I could help.
30:24Hmm.
30:35The treasure map!
30:37Oh, but I'm afraid I can't.
30:40Oh, but I'm afraid I can't read it. Perhaps Owl could help.
30:47Oh, you found the treasure map. Oh, well done.
30:51Oh, but I can't read it. Do you think you could, Owl? Read it, that is?
30:57Oh, certainly. Let's see. Hmm.
31:00Oh, yes. The treasure is in a cave on the snow mountain.
31:06Oh, thank you, Owl. Wait a moment, Pooh.
31:09You should take this candle with you. It might be rather useful.
31:15Oh.
31:18Oh!
31:24Hmm.
31:26Oh!
31:36Oh!
31:43Oh, look! I found the treasure, and it's honey!
31:48Oh, how very yummy.
31:50I shall share the honey with all of my very good friends at my birthday party.
31:55And indeed, this birthday was Winnie the Pooh's most delicious birthday of all.
32:03Hello, Pooh Bear. Now, how is that rumbly tumbly of yours?
32:08Much better, thank you.
32:10You see, by remembering all the birthdays we celebrated, I forgot to be hungry.
32:17Oh, that's too bad, for you see, I've bought you some honey.
32:21Honey? Oh, well, now that you mention it, Christopher Robin, my tumbly is a bit rumbly again.
32:31I thought that might be so.
32:34Well, why don't we have a party with all our friends, so that everyone can enjoy our honey?
32:41And so, in memory of their birthdays, and to enjoy Pooh's new honey,
32:47all the friends in the Hundred Acre Wood had a picnic together.
32:51Yes, and this picnic will give me one more memory to remember.
