00:00The Office of Civil Defense is now preparing the effects of the rains around the volcano Canlaon.

00:06The possibility of a flood is being feared.

00:15The Office of Civil Defense is now planning to expand the Permanent Danger Zone around Mount Canlaon to 10 kilometers.

00:23This is followed by rains around the volcano that could be the cause of a flood.

00:29The OCD is also planning to move the evacuation sites outside of 10 kilometers.

00:35According to the OCD, there are currently 27 evacuation centers in Negros Island

00:40and more than 77% of the residents have already been evacuated outside of the danger zone.

00:46Although the OCD assured that there is enough food and other necessities for the evacuees,

00:52it gathered help from the public.

00:55Not only food, but also things that can be a source of relief, especially for the children

00:59because it is possible that they will be able to stay longer in the evacuation sites of the residents.

01:04The OCD also said that there is still a high possibility of a strong eruption of the volcano Canlaon.

01:11After 24 hours, 22 volcanic quakes were recorded by the OCD and the eruption of the volcano continued.
