00:18The Department of Tourism, or DOT, Calabarzon, led the launch of Pasyal Rizal,

00:23a campaign that aims to show the wealth and man-made wealth of Rizal.

00:28This initiative is aimed at the colorful cultures,

00:32historical buildings, and unique sights that can be found in the province.

00:36With the help of tourism officers from the province and municipalities,

00:41tour operators, academics, content creators, and media,

00:45delegates visited the towns of Magtalban, San Mateo, Taytay, Antipolo, Binangonan, Baras, and Tanay.

00:54Here, they met local artists, small businesses, and cultural groups

01:00to promote the unique products and history of the place.

01:04According to Marites Castro, Regional Director of DOT, Calabarzon,

01:08the campaign aims to establish an inclusive model for tourism

01:13where all sectors are included and will benefit.

01:16When it comes to tourism development,

01:20it is necessary to leave no stone unturned.

01:22That is why we are helping our partners, stakeholders, and local governments

01:30to assess the uniqueness of this place.

01:37Jennifer Reyes, OIC of the Office of Special Internalization,

01:42said that there are still many beautiful sights and destinations in Rizal

01:47that are eagerly awaited by tourists who are looking forward to new experiences.

01:57that we just discovered and are excited to share with our academic sector.

02:05In 2023, Rizal was named as the most visited province in Calabarzon

02:10that has almost 40 million local tourists.

02:13According to experts, it is important to improve the services in the tourism sector

02:18to gain opportunities to boost the economy.
