00:00I feel like sometimes a lot of parents be lying.
00:03Like, they'll have their newborn baby, like,
00:06with a little 12 onesie.
00:08I'm like, come on.
00:09Like, let's be so for real right now.
00:10This baby likes Cocomelon.
00:12Like, she did not want to be here.
00:14But it's so cute.
00:19What's up, GQ?
00:20It's Juju Watkins, and these are my essentials.
00:27I love all the Travis Scott collabs.
00:29I actually recently got these.
00:30I've always wanted these since they came out.
00:32And now I wear them, like, almost every day.
00:34This colorway is crazy.
00:36It goes with everything.
00:37I have, like, the whole collection.
00:39It's like the infinity stones.
00:40Like, these were the last ones I needed.
00:42Now my collection is complete.
00:44I only collect the lows, though.
00:45I'm not really, like, a high-one Jordan,
00:47so that's not really my swag.
00:49That's even, like, on the court.
00:50I only wear low tops, so it's just a mental thing.
00:54In game shoes, first, they need to look good.
00:56Comfort and, like, stability
00:58is, like, the biggest thing.
00:59I like my shoes to feel tight,
01:01so, like, I feel like I won't roll an 8-go or something.
01:03I'm definitely a sneakerhead.
01:05I have, like, so many pairs of shoes.
01:07I also have the Travis Scott Air Force 1s,
01:10the sale ones.
01:11Love those.
01:12It's probably not good for me,
01:13because I do spend a good amount on shoes.
01:17The CPFM Dunks, I love those.
01:20I've been trying to get those
01:21ever since they came out as well,
01:22so stay tuned for that.
01:23Gotta have the Nike crew socks.
01:25It's just a must.
01:28This is Deuce.
01:29He just gives deuce, honestly.
01:31I just thought it was a good name for him.
01:33I got him, like, a couple months ago,
01:35and he's just been, like, a little light in my life.
01:39He's just so handsome, too.
01:40So he's just a great addition to the Watkins family.
01:45We're still working on his training, clearly.
01:48Sit. Sit, boy.
01:50He only works for food also.
01:53My first Frenchie.
01:54I'm honestly a Frenchie girl now.
01:56My whole Instagram is, like, Frenchie.
01:59He's really affectionate.
02:00I love that. I love that in dogs.
02:02Always gives me kisses,
02:03even when I'm mad at him
02:05for probably peeing on the floor.
02:07He loves to, like, pee at the door,
02:09and so, like, when I get home,
02:11just right there,
02:12just right there waiting on me.
02:14He only listens if you have a treat.
02:16He's still a good boy, though,
02:17despite everything.
02:21Some of the bracelets I got last season
02:24from, like, little fans.
02:25Like, I always try to keep these as much as I can.
02:28I even attach these to, like, my backpack.
02:30I just think it's so sweet.
02:31Like, people actually take the time
02:33to make things like this.
02:35Was there somebody you looked up to like that?
02:37I never really made bracelets.
02:40I was never, like, on the creative side,
02:42but I definitely looked up to, like,
02:44Candice Parker, LeBron.
02:46Those were my goats growing up.
02:48Just to see, like, so many parents
02:50wanting to get their kids into women's basketball,
02:52I just think that's just so great for the sport.
02:54It's just a great feeling
02:55when you have so many young fans,
02:57even newborns at the game.
02:59I feel like that's just so cool.
03:00Through anything I do,
03:01I like to add, like,
03:02a little philanthropy budget.
03:04I think with Nike,
03:05one of the biggest things
03:06is just giving back to the community.
03:08Under-resourced kids who don't have the funds,
03:12definitely try to include that
03:13in everything that I do.
03:14I actually have a nonprofit called Give to You.
03:16I know it's super cliche.
03:18Just trying to give back as much as I can.
03:20Super important to me.
03:22Definitely bigger than basketball, so, yeah.
03:25These are my, like, top three snacks.
03:28Funny story, my mom says
03:30that when she was pregnant with me,
03:32this was all she drank.
03:33So I guess that transferred to me being 19
03:37and still drinking apple juice every day.
03:39Usually, like, with breakfast,
03:40I'll have apple juice.
03:42And then these are just, like,
03:43go-to gas station.
03:44I only like the blue ones,
03:45so can't say the same for the other flavors,
03:49but these, movie theater, gas station,
03:52pregame, during game,
03:54nothing really changed.
03:55I always try to eat good, like, before a game.
03:58Pregame, I usually go for, like, salmon
04:00and, like, rice.
04:02I don't really eat that bad.
04:03I do need to get better with snacking, clearly.
04:05But very random, I know.
04:07Turkey jerky, I actually love it.
04:09I don't know why I love it so much.
04:11It's just, like, a good late-night snack for me.
04:15Edges is just a big thing for me.
04:16Like I said, I really care about my appearance
04:18and hair is, like, the number one thing for me.
04:21As you can see with the bun,
04:22like, it's always done.
04:23The saying, you look good, you play good.
04:25I notice, like, when my bun gets knocked out,
04:28I literally, like, cannot...
04:30I probably shouldn't say that
04:32because people are probably gonna try
04:33to knock out my bun.
04:34I could still lock in with the undone bun,
04:36but I'm just saying, you know,
04:39I prefer it not to get knocked out in the game.
04:41It's the best feeling when you have a good hair day,
04:43CNN's good, and then you have a game.
04:46There's, like, a 90% chance I'm gonna do good.
04:49My hair has to be the same, as much as possible.
04:52I know sometimes it's kind of unrealistic
04:54because we play so many games in a year.
04:56It's like, okay, you're not gonna get it perfect every time,
04:59but that's just the standard I hold myself to.
05:02Every game counts,
05:03and if the bun's good, the game's good.
05:08These are my favorite pair of jeans.
05:10As a tall girl, it's super hard to find jeans
05:12that fit perfect, and these are ones that do.
05:15So these are definitely my favorite.
05:17Wear them, like, every day.
05:19These are Dark Park.
05:21I was in Neiman Marcus when I got them.
05:23They're not loose.
05:24Kind of perfect.
05:25I like to wear baggy jeans, but these are just, like,
05:28you know, I could wear these with business casual.
05:30I could wear these with a crew neck.
05:32Just good jeans.
05:33My cousin Tracy, actually, he's super stylish,
05:36so I usually see what he's doing a lot.
05:39But, you know, I like to add my own twist to things.
05:42My style changes, like, every month.
05:44Every month.
05:47I'm usually always wearing these on campus.
05:50Nobody talks to me.
05:51No, I'm joking.
05:52Like, I always wanted to get asked, like,
05:54what do you listen to?
05:55Like, when I'm walking, if you guys seen those videos.
05:57But I feel like it would be super random
05:59because you just never know what's playing in here.
06:02Music is just such a big part of my life.
06:04I love music.
06:05I just went to a Clairo concert,
06:07so that's all I've been playing.
06:08If I'm sad, I'm, like, in my feelings,
06:11I'll play some sad music.
06:12I don't know.
06:13It ranges.
06:14Best pregame song?
06:15This season, I'll probably listen to Fiend by Travis Scott.
06:18I feel like that'll probably get me high.
06:21The most essential thing here today?
06:23A lint roller.
06:24As you can see, I'm, like, really low on paper,
06:26so I'm gonna need to get another one.
06:28I have this in my school backpack.
06:30I have this in my travel backpack.
06:31I have, like, five lint rollers at home.
06:33I hate lint.
06:34I hate when my dog's hair gets on my shirt.
06:38It just drives me crazy.
06:39As a kid, like, I always ironed my clothes
06:42before school every night.
06:44Like, lint roller.
06:45I always cared about my appearance,
06:47so I think that's just something that'll stay with me,
06:51and a lint roller is gonna help me do that.
06:54Before I go to sleep, when I wake up, Agrafor.
06:56It's kind of reasonable.
06:57I feel like people just started using it,
06:58like, a couple years ago.
06:59I never really heard about it until then.
07:01Agrafor's great.
07:02This is the NYX brow tint pen.
07:05I usually do, like, natural makeup,
07:07just something quick before I go to practice,
07:09so just shade in the eyebrows a little bit.
07:12From my experience, it stays on.
07:14I usually just fill in the ends,
07:16so not too much with it.
07:17It stays on.
07:19This is perfume.
07:20It's called Te Noir 29 by Le Labo.
07:23I have, like, 20 perfumes at home,
07:26so I'd like to switch them out.
07:28I'm more of, like, a vanilla, warmer scent.
07:31I don't know what I'm smelling right now,
07:33but it smells really good.
07:34Yeah, it just smells so good.
07:35It's like, I don't even know.
07:37There's a hotel here.
07:38The addition, and they do, like,
07:40their scents based off of this.
07:42I don't know.
07:43It's like a collab,
07:44but I love the smell of that hotel,
07:45and it inspired me to get this one,
07:47and it smells so good.
07:55Good job, buddy.
07:57That's a wrap.
