Founded in 1929, this quaint hotel offered a serene refuge for 150 guests, providing a peaceful alternative to urban chaos. However, as time passed and technology advanced, local tourism suffered dramatically. The hotel evolved into a restaurant, but alas, that venture too faced its demise, leading to the establishment of a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center in its stead. Though now deserted, that rehab once made a difference for many, including a patient from 1991 who left behind a clue of their troubled past, a hopeful tribute to the potential celebration of 33 years of sobriety.
