00:13Good afternoon. Lahar Advisory issued for Mayon Volcano,

00:18the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology.

00:21FIVOX, this is a request, of course, from OSO 2024,

00:25because of floods in the tropical region of Shirline and LPA.

00:29According to FIVOX, severe floods may result in post-eruption lahar in waterways

00:36that flowed into the volcano.

00:38There may also be lahar and sediment-laden steam flow

00:42in the barangays of Misi, Binaan, Anuling, Kirangayman, Manila, Masarawag,

00:47Mulatukad, Siti Mabinit, Matanat, Basud, and Bulawan Channels in the province of Albay.

00:52Meanwhile, it is still at alert level number one and FIVOX continues to prohibit

00:57entry to the 6-kilometer permanent danger zone in Mayon Volcano.

01:01Meanwhile, in other news, the Department of Public Works and Highways, Region 5,

01:08continues to strive to return to normal traffic flow in the primary lands in Camarines Sur.

01:13According to Lucy Castaneda, regional spokesperson of DPWH-PICOL,

01:17Buses and trucks will pass through the Andaya Highway

01:21through the One Lane Stop and Go system

01:24while the reinforcements are fixing the scoured roads

01:28in Barangay Kaputagan in the town of Lupi.

01:31DPWH-PICOL issued a detour for light vehicles

01:36in Santa Elena, Kapalongga Bypass Coastal Road

01:39and in Bagong Silang to Kapalongga Road on the north side of Camarines.

01:43Because of this situation, passengers were affected

01:46towards Visayas, Mindanao, and Visay Versa.

01:49DPWH-PICOL reminded motorists to follow the traffic laws

01:53and not to counter-flow so that the situation does not escalate.

01:57DPWH-PICOL also placed a steel sheet pile, driving, and backfiling

02:02on the damaged roads and stopped the re-blocking of the Andaya Highway

02:06so that the motorists will not be affected.

02:09As of now, there are more vehicles passing through the Camarines provinces

02:14because of the upcoming Christmas and New Year.
