00:00Meanwhile, Kapuso, the new Philippines One-Stop OFW Action Center in Makati City has been formally opened.

00:06It aims to help OFWs who are fast and hassle-free in fulfilling their requirements.

00:18Grace, a former OFW from Singapore, still remembers how she moved to the office

00:26when she was still arranging her requirements.

00:29The Office of the Department of Migrant Workers, formerly known as POEA, and OWA

00:36still have their own separate offices where they collect documents, seminars, and requirements

00:40for the Overseas Employment Contract, or OEC, and become a member of the OWA.

00:46But this is difficult for those who are still abroad.

00:50That's why we have to go abroad.

00:54In the process, we are still having a hard time.

00:58It's not a big deal for us.

01:01OFWs also often have a problem with their relatives in the Philippines

01:06when they have problems with OFWs in other countries,

01:10or where the benefits they receive will follow up.

01:14The new Philippines One-Stop OFW Action Center in Makati City

01:20is here in Makati City by President Bongbong Marcos and First Lady Viza Araneta Marcos.

01:26Here are the main services of the DMW and OWA for OFWs and their countrymen.

01:33This will eliminate the complication of bureaucracy

01:37and will make the system better for our workers,

01:42for our OFWs who are returning home.

01:45Instead of being caught up in a long queue and chaotic process,

01:50we will provide you with a good and fast system

01:54so that you can get the services, benefits, and programs of our government.

02:01Although there are headquarters and offices of the DMW and OWA,

02:05the target of the government is a place where OFWs can think of

02:10in this type of need.

02:13Major frontline services offered by the DMW include balikmanggagawa processing,

02:18reintegration support services, legal assistance,

02:22and other necessary support through the DMW Action Fund.

02:26But it's not just services for OFWs that can be processed

02:31in the new Philippines One-Stop OFW Action Center.

02:35The Action Center will also help other agencies

02:39such as PhilHealth, Pag-ibig, and SSS

02:43so that we can quickly obtain documents and benefits for our countrymen.

02:51There is a lounge area for the OFWs to relax.

02:56There is free coffee and other drinks.
