Fox News Anchors Who Went Through Ugly Divorces, #1 is a Mess
Transcript
00:00:00For more than 20 years, Kellyanne and George Conway were a formidable conservative couple
00:00:05who made a significant impact in the political sphere.
00:00:08George achieved early legal victories while Kellyanne played a historic role in the 2016
00:00:14election, demonstrating that their marriage could not only withstand the competitive environment
00:00:19of Washington but also flourish within it. Nevertheless, their public disputes over
00:00:24Donald Trump revealed underlying issues in their relationship, ultimately leading to their divorce.
00:00:30Join Facts Verse as we delve into Kellyanne's recent public confirmation of the reasoning
00:00:34behind ending her high-profile 22-year marriage to George Conway.
00:00:40The Early Years of Marriage and Careers
00:00:43After being introduced through mutual friends in the late 90s, George Conway was immediately
00:00:49struck by the intelligence and tenacity of up-and-coming pollster Kellyanne Fitzpatrick.
00:00:54Though she commanded boardrooms and focus groups with poise, George sensed a warmth
00:00:59and humor that drew him in. While George thrived as a respected litigator in New York,
00:01:04she took on pioneering roles surveying the complex American political landscape
00:01:09from positions in Washington, D.C. and beyond. Despite keeping homes and careers in separate
00:01:14cities, the pair nourished a deep intellectual connection and passion that soon blossomed into
00:01:20love. In April 2001, family and friends gathered to witness their devotion come full circle as
00:01:26they wed in a lavish ceremony at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul in Philadelphia.
00:01:32Kellyanne was surrounded by joy as she made her vows before God and loved ones,
00:01:36marking the symbolic start of their personal quest to balance ambition, family, and faith.
00:01:42Early married life saw them settle smoothly into a Manhattan apartment at Trump World Tower,
00:01:47a building that would introduce unlikely political intrigues. By then,
00:01:51they had begun building their own family, welcoming fraternal twins George IV and Claudia,
00:01:57followed by Charlotte and Vanessa in quick succession. George lent constant support however
00:02:02needed, whether handling domestic crises with grace or cheering boisterously from
00:02:06sidelines at Kellyanne's passionate debates. His positivity and reliability anchored her
00:02:12rising star. With each new cherished addition to their family, their spacious Alpine,
00:02:17New Jersey home swelled with the laughter of children. As the kids grew, their feats became
00:02:23more synchronized. George focused diligently on cultivating his formidable yet fulfilling
00:02:28responsibilities as a respected litigator at Wachell, while Kellyanne's consequential policies
00:02:34and unyielding work ethic stirred national dialogue from coast to coast. Their profound
00:02:40bond anchored each other through career highs and uncertainties alike. Commitment to faith,
00:02:45community, and public service underpinned all else as they inspired onlookers.
00:02:51Disagreements Over Trump When Kellyanne joined Donald Trump's
00:02:54insurgent presidential campaign in 2016, she brought her formidable talents to what many
00:03:00deemed an impossible challenge. Through furious debate prep sessions and grueling cross-country
00:03:05rallies, George remained her biggest champion from the sidelines. In a stunning victory that November,
00:03:11Kellyanne helped deliver the Oval Office against formidable odds, cementing her reputation as the
00:03:17first woman to manage a successful White House bid. At celebrations that evening, a tearful George
00:03:23beamed with pride. But as political divisions deepened after the inauguration, George found
00:03:29himself drifting from Trump's bombastic style. He grew concerned by the unconventional hiring
00:03:35practices and attacks on cherished institutions. As investigations accumulated of Russian electoral
00:03:41interference, George saw warning signs that others dismissed. His legal expertise made
00:03:47him skeptical of unorthodox responses that challenged ethics. When George noticed Kellyanne
00:03:52strained under pressures that compromised her character, he felt obligated to alleviate such
00:03:58burdens publicly. While she disagreed with going against party leadership, George couldn't stay
00:04:03silent and watch her unnecessarily bear the weight alone. His critiques intensified with rising
00:04:10national anxieties, often clashing with ongoing pro-Trump advocacy from his spouse. The situation
00:04:16exacerbated existing family tensions as their opposing stances generated an onslaught of media
00:04:22engulfment and toxicity in their social circles. Meanwhile, Trump antagonized and ridiculed any
00:04:29internal dissent, deepening George's objections further. Friends noticed even cheerful dinners
00:04:34together became minefields of unstated avoidance, hinting the marriage faced its severest test yet.
00:04:42A marriage tested by public feuding. As political tensions rose in late 2018,
00:04:48so too did the temperature of George and Trump's confrontations online. A shrewd legal strategist,
00:04:54George dissected each presidential tweet and decision for logical flaws, inconsistencies in
00:05:00leadership, and concerning behaviors. His threat analyses accurately predicted emerging crises,
00:05:07such as the looming threat of obstruction investigations and the former president's
00:05:11refusal to accept defeat graciously. Meanwhile, Kellyanne remained entrenched in defending even
00:05:17the most unconventional actions as strategically deliberate. The strain took a personal toll.
00:05:23She worked furiously to conceal. George felt obligated to relieve some burden by speaking out
00:05:29against certain policies, endangering democratic norms and his spouse's character. Kellyanne
00:05:35upheld that dissent from within damaged unity and played into resistance narratives. Tensions
00:05:40erupted in March 2019 after Trump unleashed an erratic weekend Twitter tirade. George stunned
00:05:47onlookers by releasing diagnostic criteria related to narcissistic personality disorder
00:05:53and sociopathy, intimating without outright labeling the assessments. Kelly distanced
00:05:58professionally while privately conceding her husband's merit, though commitment required
00:06:03neutrality. Enraged, Trump unleashed a deluge of insults, personally disparaging George as jealous,
00:06:10wacko, and less successful. As impeachment hearings loomed that fall and polls showed eroding trust in
00:06:16the presidency, George endorsed congressional efforts to curb perceived corruption and restore
00:06:22accountability. Yet for Kellyanne, sworn loyalty necessitated redoubling defenses as attacks
00:06:29multiplied. Their moral differences were painfully apparent, agonizing family and spectators alike
00:06:35gripped by schadenfreude. Their teenager Claudia, distraught watching parents war publicly,
00:06:40soon leveraged platforms to air grievances with both the administration and her inability to
00:06:45reconcile warring kin. By late 2019, friends described George and Kellyanne communicating
00:06:51less as partners repairing divisions, instead perpetually entrenched on divergent fronts
00:06:57of an all-encompassing war of attrition consuming national focus.
00:07:02Confirming The Reason For Divorce As Kellyanne took to the airwaves to
00:07:06promote her memoir in early 2022, she revealed new layers to the disillusion of the marriage.
00:07:12She acknowledged growing apart from George in the Trump era, citing his tweets opposing
00:07:17her boss as prioritizing a personal project over their family. While defending her right
00:07:22to counsel presidents without interference, Kellyanne maintained that George was not
00:07:27obligated to stay silent on views. But his strident condemnation breached vows to respect
00:07:33her differing role and shield dissent from children. She sensed George relished antagonizing
00:07:39Trump as a fling, replacing intimacy dissolving between them. George pushed back that his
00:07:44critiques online vented his frustrations, avoiding dragging the administration into their home.
00:07:50As the 2022 midterms neared and Republicans eyed a future beyond Trump, George revealed
00:07:56consulting moderates while Kellyanne hinted regret over sacrifices made for a cause now
00:08:01dividing inheritors. Friends say Claudia embraced emancipation partly to remove herself from the
00:08:07conflict of irreconcilable forces shaping her upbringing.
00:08:12Before Politics
00:08:13Kimberly Ann Guilfoyle was born on March 9, 1969. Her mother, Mercedes, was Puerto Rican
00:08:20and died of leukemia when Kimberly was only 11. Her father, Anthony, was an Irish immigrant who
00:08:25was in the army and then took up construction. Law was her first love. She studied at the
00:08:30University of California, Davis. She got a JD from the University of San Francisco School of Law.
00:08:37Kimberly then interned for the district attorney. She earned money to pay for her studies by
00:08:41modeling for Macy's and a bridal magazine. She eventually went to Trinity College, Dublin,
00:08:46in Ireland for further studies. She published research on international children's rights
00:08:52and European economic community law. Kimberly taught in a public school district. She was a
00:08:57public prosecutor in San Francisco until 1996. Terrence Hallinan was elected district attorney.
00:09:03He fired her and 13 other city prosecutors. She spent four years as a deputy district attorney on
00:09:09adult and juvenile cases. Her work earned her several awards, including Prosecutor of the Month.
00:09:15That was enough to make Terrence realize his mistake, and he hired her again in 2000. She
00:09:20served as assistant district attorney of San Francisco from 2000 to 2004. Her work on the
00:09:26second-degree murder case, People v. Knoll & Knoller, earned her national attention in 2002.
00:09:34Working on TV The attention from Kimberly's
00:09:37early court cases was enough to get Hollywood to come knocking. She was a natural fit for TV,
00:09:42beautiful, vibrant, and not afraid to cause a bit of trouble. She moved to New York to host
00:09:47Both Sides on court TV in 2004. She was also a legal analyst on Anderson Cooper 360.
00:09:54She is better known for her work on Fox News. She was an anchor there from 2006 to 2018.
00:10:00She hosted the weekend show The Line Up until it was eventually cancelled.
00:10:04She then co-hosted The Five and became its host in 2018. She hosted and then co-hosted
00:10:10Outnumbered for almost 50 episodes from 2014 to 2018. She also appeared weekly on the Is It
00:10:16Legal segment of The O'Reilly Factor. Her other Fox Network hosting appearances included Hannity,
00:10:23On the Record, Justice with Judge Jeanine, and Fox & Friends.
00:10:26Kimberly signed a long-term contract with Fox in 2017. She abruptly left a year later.
00:10:33The network had allegedly been investigating sexual harassment claims amongst members of
00:10:38the network, including herself and Roger Ailes. They reportedly gave her an ultimatum to resign
00:10:44or be fired. They settled out of court for an estimated $4 million.
00:10:48She denies claims of any inappropriate behavior on set. She also says that she wasn't paid any
00:10:54hush money to keep anything quiet. She insists that her decision to leave Fox was entirely
00:10:59voluntary. She said,
00:11:01In my 30-year career working for the San Francisco District Attorney's Office,
00:11:06the L.A. District Attorney's Office, in media and in politics, I have never engaged in any
00:11:11workplace misconduct of any kind. During my career, I have served as a mentor to countless women,
00:11:17with many of whom I remain exceptionally close to this day.
00:11:20Other former co-workers were on her side. Alexandra Priet is her longtime friend and
00:11:26says that the claims are false. Her former colleague Greta Van Susteren insists that she
00:11:30never heard any complaints against her. Sergio Gore, Chief of Staff for Trump's Victory Finance
00:11:36Committee, said that she would never do anything like that.
00:11:39The allegations didn't end her appearances behind the camera, though.
00:11:42She began hosting her own show on the video platform Rumble in February of 2023.
00:11:484. Supporting Trump's Campaign
00:11:52Kimberly took to politics after leaving Fox. She joined America First Policies,
00:11:57the pro-Trump super PAC that helped campaign for Republicans during the 2018 midterm elections.
00:12:03She was reportedly considered as a press secretary but lost the position to Sean Spicer.
00:12:08Her co-host of The Five, Bob Beckel, said that she turned down the job.
00:12:12Kimberly was described as a conservative cheerleader for Donald Trump.
00:12:16They toured school campuses together. They were paid $50,000 for their appearance
00:12:21at the University of Florida. It led to such a violent outcry from the other side
00:12:25that two people were arrested and five were injured.
00:12:28Kimberly managed the fundraising division of the Trump 2020 campaign.
00:12:33This was despite poor staffing and allegations of irresponsible spending.
00:12:37She gave an infamous speech supporting Trump in August of 2020.
00:12:475. Save America March
00:13:02Certain onlookers called it loud and unhinged. Others called it passionate.
00:13:07Kimberly also joined the Save America March on January 6, 2021, which led to the attack
00:13:13on the Capitol. She was reportedly paid $60,000 for a two-and-a-half-minute rallying speech and
00:13:19dance. It gave hints about her position and future relationships.
00:13:434. Her Relationships
00:13:52Gavin Newsom
00:13:53Kimberly met Gavin at a Democratic fundraiser for John Burton.
00:13:56Attorney Art Groza introduced them, and they hit it off.
00:14:00She married Gavin in December 2001. That was during his first two years as mayor of San Francisco
00:14:06and his term as governor. They appeared together in the September 2004 issue of Harper's Bazaar,
00:14:12the world seemed to believe in them, affectionately dubbing them as the new Kennedys.
00:14:17It didn't last, though, and the pair divorced on February 28, 2006.
00:14:21They cited the difficulties of staying married while living so far apart.
00:14:25He said that it had, quote,
00:14:27"...taken a huge toll personally. The transcontinental marriage is tough.
00:14:31The only godsend is that we don't have kids. You give up your life in the traditional sense."
00:14:36The couple grew apart over time. At first, they supported each other and had nothing but nice
00:14:41words to say. Later reports saw each of them saying that time had changed them.
00:14:46There was a further wrinkle thrown in later. It was revealed that Gavin was having an affair
00:14:50with Ruby Ripary Tork, the wife of his former campaign manager and deputy chief of staff,
00:14:56Alex Tork. He publicly apologized for it the day after the news broke.
00:15:00No one is sure whether Kimberly knew about the affair before she divorced him.
00:15:05Gavin didn't marry Ruby, though. He instead married documentary filmmaker
00:15:09Jennifer Seibel Newsom in 2008. They now have four children.
00:15:15Eric Valencia
00:15:16Kimberly married furniture heir Eric Valencia on May 27,
00:15:202006. They were married at a resort in Barbados.
00:15:24She had their first son, Ronan Anthony, on October 4, 2006.
00:15:28Kimberly was ecstatic and called him the most beautiful blessing.
00:15:32The birth wasn't enough to save their failing relationship, though.
00:15:35They divorced in November of 2009.
00:15:37They co-parent him together, and she says he's a great father.
00:15:42Donald Trump Jr
00:15:43Vanessa Trump divorced Donald Trump Jr in July of 2018.
00:15:48She revealed who her ex was dating that June.
00:15:51She also defended any backlash this love interest would face.
00:15:54She commented on a post about, quote,
00:15:56the lengths people will go to attack a woman simply because she's dating Don.
00:16:00She also said, quote,
00:16:02We've been separated for over nine months and respect each other's decisions and privacy.
00:16:06We'll focus on raising our great kids.
00:16:09The woman, of course, was Kimberly.
00:16:11She reports that they'd known each other for years,
00:16:13but it only took one date for sparks to start flying.
00:16:16The couple have also looked for places to settle down with his five children,
00:16:20Spencer, Tristan, Donald Trump III, Chloe, and Kai, as well as her son.
00:16:25They're excited to blend their two families.
00:16:27They bought a $4.4 million home in the Hamptons together
00:16:30but sold it in March of 2021 for $8.14 million.
00:16:35Then they bought a $9.7 million home in Jupiter, Florida that same month.
00:16:40They were engaged December 31st, 2020.
00:16:43They didn't make the news public, though, until January of 2022.
00:17:04The Rise of Pete Hegseth
00:17:13Pete's journey from a small-town Minnesota boy to a prominent Fox News personality
00:17:18is a tale of ambition, military service, and political maneuvering.
00:17:22Born on June 6, 1980, in Forest Lake, Minnesota, Hegseth showed promise early on.
00:17:27He was a valedictorian of his high school class and an all-state basketball player.
00:17:32His time at Princeton University was pivotal in shaping his conservative views.
00:17:36As the publisher of the Princeton Tory, a conservative student publication,
00:17:40he honed his skills in articulating right-wing perspectives.
00:17:44His involvement in the ROTC program there foreshadowed his future military career.
00:18:02Military Service
00:18:04After graduating from Princeton in 2003, he embarked on a military career that became
00:18:09a cornerstone of his public persona. He served in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba,
00:18:13as an infantry platoon leader with the Minnesota National Guard.
00:18:17His service continued in Baghdad and Samara, Iraq, where he held positions as an infantry
00:18:22platoon leader and civil military operations officer. His military accolades include two
00:18:28bronze star medals and a combat infantryman badge, testifying to his valor in service.
00:18:34Conservative Activism and Political Aspirations
00:18:37Upon returning from Iraq, Hegseth wasted no time in positioning himself within conservative circles.
00:18:42He briefly worked at the Manhattan Institute for Policy Research before taking on the role
00:18:47of executive director at Vets for Freedom in 2007. This organization advocated for greater
00:18:53troop presence in Iraq and Afghanistan. In 2012, Hegseth made his first foray into
00:18:59electoral politics, running for the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate seat in Minnesota.
00:19:04Though he withdrew from the race before the primary, this campaign marked his transition
00:19:09from a behind-the-scenes activist to a public political figure.
00:19:24The Fox News Years Hegseth joined Fox News as a contributor in 2014,
00:19:29marking the beginning of his rise to national prominence. His military background and
00:19:33conservative credentials made him a natural fit for the network's audience. Over time,
00:19:38he became a regular presence on Fox and Friends and other programs known for his staunch support
00:19:43of conservative causes and later President Donald Trump. During the 2016 Republican primaries,
00:19:49Hegseth initially backed Marco Rubio, then Ted Cruz, before ultimately putting
00:19:54his support behind Trump. He quickly became one of Trump's most vocal supporters on Fox News.
00:20:00Controversial Stances and Influence Hegseth's tenure at Fox News has been
00:20:21marked by controversy and accusations of blurring the lines between journalism and advocacy. In May
00:20:282019, it was reported that Hegseth had been privately lobbying President Trump to pardon
00:20:33several U.S. military service members charged with war crimes. This behind-the-scenes advocacy,
00:20:39while simultaneously discussing these cases on-air without disclosure, raised ethical questions
00:20:45about Hegseth's role as a news personality. His strong support for Trump's policies often led to
00:20:50contentious on-air moments. For instance, in January 2020, following the killing of Iranian
00:20:56General Qasem Soleimani, Hegseth not only expressed strong support for Trump's decision,
00:21:01but also called for more aggressive action, suggesting that the U.S.
00:21:05should bomb Iranian cultural sites if they were storing weapons.
00:21:26Pete's personal life has also been a subject of public interest and scrutiny. His marital
00:21:41history, including two divorces and an extramarital affair, has drawn attention,
00:21:46particularly given his public stance on traditional family values. In his critically acclaimed 2016
00:21:52book, In the Arena, Hegseth wrote that the focus on family policy should instead be on
00:21:57strengthening families and creating good citizens by preventing divorce of parents with kids,
00:22:02encouraging large, productive families. But Hegseth's personal actions have often seemed
00:22:07at odds with these stated beliefs. In September 2017, his second wife, Samantha, filed for
00:22:13divorce. This came shortly after he had a child with Jennifer Roche, a Fox News producer.
00:22:22Leadership Roles And Nepotism Allegations
00:22:34Hegseth's leadership roles in various organizations have also come under scrutiny.
00:22:39As Executive Director of Concerned Veterans for America, a conservative advocacy group
00:22:44funded by the infamous Koch brothers, Hegseth pushed for greater privatization of the Department
00:22:49of Veterans Affairs. However, Hegseth's management decision raised eyebrows.
00:22:53According to an APM Reports investigation, while at Concerned Veterans for America,
00:22:58Hegseth hired his brother Philip for a media relations position, paying him $108,000 over
00:23:04two years. This hiring decision, coming shortly after Philip's college graduation,
00:23:08led to accusations of nepotism. The investigation also found that Hegseth's management of a
00:23:13political action committee in Minnesota, MNPAC, raised questions about campaign finance practices.
00:23:20The PAC spent a significant portion of its funds on Christmas parties and reimbursements to Hegseth,
00:23:26rather than supporting candidates as initially intended.
00:23:43Trump Administration Connections
00:23:53Hegseth's close relationship with President Trump became a defining aspect of his career.
00:23:59He reportedly interviewed for the position of Secretary of Veterans Affairs three times
00:24:04after Trump's election in 2016. Though he didn't secure the position,
00:24:08his influence on Trump's circle remained strong. Pete's access to Trump allowed him to advocate
00:24:13for policies and actions directly to the President. This included his push for pardons of
00:24:18service members accused of war crimes, a move that drew both glowing praise and strong criticism
00:24:23from various quarters. Media Influence and Controversy
00:24:33As Pete's profile grew, so did the controversy surrounding his statements. In February 2020,
00:24:39amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Hegseth made inflammatory comments about Democrats,
00:24:44stating that, quote,
00:24:45"...they're rooting for coronavirus to spread. They're rooting for it to grow.
00:24:48They're rooting for the problem to get worse." Such statements, along with his suggestion that
00:24:53the Omicron variant of COVID-19 was fabricated by Democrats for political gain, exemplify the
00:24:59polarizing nature of his commentary. The Wedding at Trump National Golf Club
00:25:04In a move that symbolized his deep alignment with Trump, Hegseth chose to hold his wedding
00:25:09to Jennifer Roche at the Trump National Golf Club in Colts Neck, New Jersey, in August 2019.
00:25:15This underscored the intertwining of his personal life, professional career,
00:25:19and political allegiances. The couple even posed for pictures during their wedding rehearsal,
00:25:24wearing red Make Weddings Great Again hats, a clear nod to Trump's famous campaign slogan.
00:25:30The gesture, while endearing to Trump's supporters, was seen by critics as another
00:25:34example of Hegseth's unwavering loyalty to the former President.
00:25:38Marital Bliss Short-Lived
00:25:40The union with Jennifer Roche, which began amidst controversy, soon faced its own challenges.
00:25:45Despite the public display of affection and political alignment at their wedding,
00:25:49cracks in the relationship surfaced. Rumors of infidelity began to circulate as well.
00:25:54While these allegations remained unconfirmed, they added strain to an already fragile relationship.
00:26:00Eventually, it became too much to bear. In a move that surprised many of their colleagues,
00:26:04at Fox News, Roche filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.
00:26:09This filing came just shy after their second wedding anniversary.
00:26:13The latest divorce not only impacted Pete's personal life but also raised questions
00:26:17about his credibility as a champion of traditional family values.
00:26:23Julie Banderas Julie Banderas,
00:26:26a prominent Fox News anchor, has recently been in the spotlight due to her tumultuous
00:26:31divorce from financial advisor Andrew Sansone. Their marriage, which began in 2009,
00:26:37faced significant public scrutiny after Julie made an unexpected announcement about their split
00:26:43during a live segment on Fox News' show Gutfeld on February 9,
00:26:482023. In a candid moment, she declared,
00:26:51"'F' Valentine's Day. It's stupid. I mean, even when I was married, I didn't get blank."
00:26:56The divorce proceedings became even more contentious following an incident in December
00:27:01of 2022, where Sansone was accused of holding a steak knife to Banderas' throat during an argument
00:27:08at their Southampton, New York home. According to documents, the argument erupted over mashed
00:27:14potatoes that Julie had made for the children. She claimed that Sansone's actions left her fearing
00:27:19for her life, leading to his arrest, uncharges of menacing, and criminal possession of a weapon.
00:27:25But in a surprising turn of events, he was acquitted of all charges in September 2023.
00:27:32The court found inconsistencies in Banderas' statements and concluded that her accusations
00:27:37were potentially influenced by the ongoing divorce litigation. Sansone's attorney argued
00:27:43that the criminal complaint was a strategic move to gain leverage in the divorce case,
00:27:49a claim that was ultimately supported by the judge's ruling.
00:27:52Throughout their 14-year marriage, the two faced several challenges,
00:27:56including Sansone's discomfort with Julie's success at Fox News. Sources close to the
00:28:01couple described their relationship as rocky, with Sansone often undermining
00:28:06Banderas' confidence even in front of their children.
00:28:12Sean Hannity Sean Hannity, a long-time Fox News host,
00:28:16quietly divorced his wife, Jill Rhodes, after more than 26 years of marriage.
00:28:22The couple's separation, which began several years before their divorce was finalized,
00:28:27remained largely out of the public eye until 2020. Hannity and Rhodes, who married in 1993,
00:28:34have two children together, Patrick and Mary Kelly. Despite the divorce,
00:28:38they have maintained an amicable relationship, focusing on co-parenting their children and
00:28:43continuing to share family activities like attending tennis tournaments and celebrating
00:28:48holidays together. Rhodes and Hannity first met in the early 1990s when Hannity was working at
00:28:53WVNN Radio in Huntsville, Alabama, and Rhodes was a political columnist for the Huntsville Times.
00:29:00Their relationship quickly developed, leading to their marriage in 1993.
00:29:05Hannity has often credited Rhodes with much of his success,
00:29:08dedicating his first book, Let Freedom Ring, to her and their children.
00:29:12Their divorce was kept secret for more than a year before being made public in June of 2020.
00:29:18In a joint statement, they emphasized their commitment to co-parenting and maintaining
00:29:23a close relationship for the sake of their children. Despite their separation, Hannity
00:29:27and Rhodes continue to have family dinners and maintain close ties with each other's families.
00:29:33A statement was made by their reps that said that Sean and Jill are committed to working together
00:29:38for the best interests of their children. Amicable agreements were entered into over
00:29:43four years ago between Sean and Jill. Megan Kelly
00:29:50Megan Kelly, a former Fox News anchor, has had a notable personal life
00:29:55alongside her high-profile career. She was first married to Dr. Daniel Kendall,
00:30:00an anesthesiologist, from 2001 until their divorce in 2006.
00:30:05Their relationship began in Chicago, where they met at a street festival while Kendall was a
00:30:10medical student and Kelly was practicing law. Despite a romantic entanglement in Paris and a
00:30:16seemingly strong start, the marriage eventually fell apart. Kendall later explained that their
00:30:21differing life goals and mutual need for more emotional support were significant factors in
00:30:27their split. He said that it's fair to say that he wanted to start a family at some point, but
00:30:32she wasn't at that point. And yes, after we split, that is what we told neighbors. But really,
00:30:37there was more to it than that. She probably needed more emotional support than I could give
00:30:42her, and the same for me. Following her divorce, Kelly met Douglas Brunt, a novelist and former
00:30:47tech CEO, on a blind date arranged by friends. Their relationship quickly blossomed, and they
00:30:53married in 2008. Kelly and Brunt have three children, Edward, Yardley, and Thatcher. Brunt
00:30:59left his position as CEO of Authentium to pursue a career in writing, publishing several successful
00:31:05novels. The couple has maintained a strong partnership despite the pressures of Kelly's
00:31:10media career and Brunt's transition to full-time writing.
00:31:17Bill O'Reilly
00:31:18Bill O'Reilly's divorce from Maureen McPhilmy was notably contentious and public. The couple,
00:31:24who married in 1996, separated in 2010 and finalized their divorce in 2011. Their split
00:31:31led to a prolonged and highly publicized custody battle over their two children. During this battle,
00:31:37McPhilmy accused O'Reilly of physically abusing her, specifically alleging that he dragged her
00:31:43down a staircase by the neck in front of their daughter. A statement at the time said,
00:31:49A court-appointed forensic examiner testified at a closed hearing that O'Reilly's daughter claimed
00:31:54to have witnessed her father dragging McPhilmy down a staircase by her neck, apparently unaware
00:32:00that the daughter was watching. The precise date of the alleged incident is unclear,
00:32:05but it appears to have occurred before the couple separated in 2010. The same source
00:32:10indicated that the daughter, who is 16 years old, told the forensic examiner about the incident
00:32:16within the past year. O'Reilly has vehemently denied these allegations, calling them 100%
00:32:21false. His legal issues didn't end with the divorce, though. In 2016, he filed a $10 million
00:32:27lawsuit against McPhilmy, accusing her of using money from their divorce settlement
00:32:32to finance an extramarital affair. The lawsuit claimed that McPhilmy misled O'Reilly about the
00:32:39terms of the divorce to support her relationship with Jeffrey Gross, a Nassau County police
00:32:44detective whom she later married. The custody battle also involved significant controversy
00:32:50over the appointment of a neutral therapist to mediate parenting disputes. McPhilmy discovered
00:32:56that the supposed neutral therapist was actually a full-time employee of O'Reilly,
00:33:00leading her to accuse him of undermining their custody agreement.
00:33:07Kimberly Guilfoyle Kimberly Guilfoyle's personal life has seen
00:33:11significant public attention, particularly due to her two high-profile marriages and
00:33:16subsequent divorces. She first married Gavin Newsom, then a San Francisco City supervisor,
00:33:22in December 2001. Their marriage was highly publicized, with both being prominent figures
00:33:28in politics and media. However, by January 2005, they jointly filed for divorce,
00:33:33citing the demands of their respective careers as the reason. Guilfoyle had moved to New York
00:33:38in 2004 for a job with Court TV, while Newsom remained in San Francisco serving as mayor.
00:33:45The long-distance arrangement proved challenging, and they acknowledged leading separate lives due
00:33:49to professional commitments. Following her divorce, Guilfoyle moved quickly on and married
00:33:54Eric Valencia, a furniture heir and CEO, in May 2006. They met on a blind date and were engaged
00:34:01by Christmas 2005. Guilfoyle and Valencia had a son, Ronan Anthony, born in October 2006,
00:34:09five months after their wedding in Barbados. At the time, a source close to the couple said that
00:34:14the wedding was planned long before she learned that she was with child. But another close source
00:34:19disagreed with that take, saying that the baby was the worst-kept secret in town. Despite their
00:34:24swift and seemingly passionate start, the marriage ended in 2009. The divorce was amicable, with both
00:34:30parties sharing joint custody of their son and maintaining a positive co-parenting relationship.
00:34:36Guilfoyle's relationships have continued to attract media attention,
00:34:39particularly her engagement to Donald Trump Jr., which further solidified her place in the public
00:34:45eye. Sean's Early Life and Rise

00:37:10They eventually married in 1993, and Rhodes became an integral part of Hannity's life and career.

00:37:55Reports suggest that the split was amicable, with both Hannity and Rhodes expressing mutual respect
00:38:01and a desire for privacy. They released a joint statement confirming the end of their marriage
00:38:06and requesting privacy for their family during the transition. While the exact reasons for the
00:38:12divorce were not disclosed publicly, it's common for couples to cite irreconcilable differences or
00:38:17changes in their relationship dynamics as reasons for ending their marriage.
00:38:22A statement was made by their reps that said that Sean and Jill are committed to working together
00:38:26for the best interests of their children. Amicable agreements were entered into over
00:38:31four years ago between Sean and Jill. Since the announcement of the divorce,
00:38:35both Hannity and Rhodes have kept a low profile regarding their personal lives,
00:38:40choosing to focus on their respective careers and family matters away from the public eye.

00:49:47However, throughout Trump's presidency, Pirro remained a steadfast ally,
00:50:01frequently praising his initiatives and defending Trump against criticism from opponents and the
00:50:06media.
00:50:06But her support for Trump has not been without controversy.
00:50:09Her staunch defense of the President during turbulent periods, such as impeachment
00:50:14inquiries and legal challenges, have drawn criticism reflecting the polarizing nature
00:50:19of Trump's presidency.
00:50:24Lauren Boebert, the firebrand Republican Congresswoman from Colorado, is best known for
00:50:30her unwavering support of gun rights and her, shall we say, provocative statements on the
00:50:35House floor.
00:50:35Her polarizing presence in American politics has made her a lightning rod for both admiration
00:50:41and criticism.
00:50:42But recently, her personal life has taken center stage, overshadowing her political
00:50:46career.
00:50:47In a shocking turn of events, she filed for divorce from her husband of nearly two decades.
00:50:53The timing and circumstances have left many wondering what could have prompted such a
00:50:57sudden and drastic change.
00:50:59Join us as we explore the sequence of events that led to Lauren ending her marriage and
00:51:04the implications this might have for her political future.
00:51:13Lauren Opal Roberts was born on December 19, 1986, in Altamont Springs, Florida.
00:51:22Her early years were marked by instability, with her mother, Shauna Roberts-Benz, only
00:51:2818 at the time of Lauren's birth.
00:51:30The identity of her biological father remains unknown, though there was speculation at one
00:51:35point about professional wrestler Stan Lane being her father.
00:51:39This was later disproven by DNA tests.
00:51:42Lauren's childhood was shaped by frequent moves and changing family dynamics.
00:51:47At age four, her mother took her to Colorado, then back to Florida before finally settling
00:51:52in Colorado with a man who became Lauren's stepfather.
00:51:55The family moved around Colorado, living in the Montbello neighborhood of Denver and Aurora
00:52:00before ultimately settling in Rifle in 2003.
00:52:04Her educational journey was somewhat non-traditional.
00:52:07She dropped out of high school during her senior year in 2004 when she became pregnant
00:52:12with her first child.
00:52:13It wasn't until 2020, just before her first election primary, that she earned her GED.
00:52:20During her teen years and early adulthood, she worked various jobs to support herself
00:52:25and her family.
00:52:26She started as an assistant manager at a McDonald's in Rifle, a job she later credited with shaping
00:52:31her views on government assistance and self-reliance.
00:52:35After marrying Jason Boebert in 2007, she took a job filing for a natural gas drilling
00:52:41company and later became a pipeliner, working on teams that build and maintain pipelines
00:52:46and pumping stations.
00:52:48Rise to Political Prominence
00:52:50Her path to political prominence began with her activism and business ventures.
00:52:55In 2013, she and her husband opened Shooter's Grill in Rifle, Colorado.
00:53:00The restaurant gained national attention for its unique concept,
00:53:04servers openly carrying firearms while working.
00:53:07Boebert claimed she obtained a concealed carry permit after a man was, quote,
00:53:12beaten to death by another man's hands outside of her restaurant,
00:53:16though this claim was later found to be mostly erroneous.
00:53:19The actual incident, if you're curious, involved a man who died from a methamphetamine overdose
00:53:24about a block away from the restaurant.
00:53:27Her outspoken advocacy for gun rights and conservative values
00:53:31began to attract attention beyond her local community.
00:53:34In September 2019, she made headlines when she confronted then-presidential candidate
00:53:40Beto O'Rourke at a town hall meeting in Aurora, Colorado over his proposal for a mandatory
00:53:46buyback of assault-style rifles.
00:53:48This confrontation thrust her into the national spotlight and set a stage for her political
00:53:53career.
00:53:54Political Career
00:53:56In December 2019, she announced her candidacy for Colorado's third congressional district,
00:54:01challenging five-term incumbent Scott Tipton in the Republican primary.
00:54:06Her campaign focused on strong support for then-president Donald Trump,
00:54:11gun rights, and opposition to what she termed as socialist policies.
00:54:15In an unexpected upset, she defeated Tipton in the primary, becoming the first primary
00:54:20challenger to unseat a sitting U.S. representative in Colorado for 48 years.
00:54:26She won the general election against Democrat Diane Mitch Bush, taking office in January 2021.
00:54:33She quickly aligned herself with the most conservative wing of the Republican Party,
00:54:37joining the Freedom Caucus, and becoming known for her provocative statements and
00:54:41unwavering support for Trump.
00:54:43Since then, she's been a vocal opponent of COVID-19 restrictions, gun control measures,
00:54:48and what she sees as government overreach.
00:54:51Personal Life and Divorce
00:55:01Boebert's personal life has been eventful.
00:55:04She married Jason Boebert in 2007, and together they have four sons.
00:55:08The marriage had its challenges, though.
00:55:10In February 2004, before they were married, Jason was arrested and charged with harassing
00:55:16and physically assaulting Lauren, leading to a conviction in November of that year.
00:55:21Throughout their marriage, the Boeberts faced various legal and financial challenges.
00:55:26Jason worked in the oil and gas industry and later helped run their restaurant, Shooter's Grill.
00:55:32In 2012, he registered a consulting company,
00:55:35Boebert Consulting LLC, which provided drilling services to Terra Energy.
00:55:40The couple's relationship took a dramatic turn in May 2023 when Lauren filed for divorce,
00:55:46citing irreconcilable differences.
00:55:48The decision came as a shock to many,
00:55:50given Boebert's public image as a staunch advocate for traditional family values.
00:55:56The divorce was finalized on October 10, 2023, marking the end of their 18-year marriage.
00:56:02The aftermath has been tumultuous.
00:56:04In January 2024, Jason was arrested for a domestic violence incident.
00:56:09Initially, he claimed that Lauren had punched him
00:56:12during an altercation when they met to try to improve their relationship.
00:56:16But he later recanted this claim.
00:56:18In a separate incident, Jason was accused of assaulting their 18-year-old son
00:56:22and brandishing a gun when the son attempted to call authorities during an argument over laundry.
00:56:28This led to Lauren seeking a restraining order against Jason to protect their children.
00:56:33She initially wanted the order extended,
00:56:35expressing fears that Jason's anger towards her might be taken out on their sons.
00:56:39But she later requested the order be dropped after they reached a quote strict agreement.
00:56:45Controversies and Public Incidents
00:57:07One of the most notable incidents happened in September of 2023
00:57:12when Bobert was removed from a performance of the musical Beetlejuice in Denver.
00:57:17Initially, she denied causing a disturbance,
00:57:19claiming she was only laughing and singing too loud.
00:57:22But surveillance footage later revealed that she had been vaping
00:57:25and engaging in inappropriate sexual behavior with her date, Aspen Bar owner Quinn Gallagher.
00:57:31The incident led to widespread criticism and questions about her conduct.
00:57:41Bobert has faced backlash for her comments about other members of Congress too.
00:57:53In November of 2021, she made headlines for suggesting
00:57:57that Representative Ilhan Omar, who is Muslim, was a terrorist.
00:58:01She later apologized to quote,
00:58:03anyone in the Muslim community I offended with my comment about Representative Omar.
00:58:07But the incident strained relationships across party lines.
00:58:11Her actions during the January 6, 2021 Capitol attack have also been scrutinized.
00:58:17On the morning of January 6, she tweeted,
00:58:20Today is 1776, which many interpreted as encouraging the mob outside the U.S. Capitol.
00:58:27Later that day, during the insurrection, she tweeted about
00:58:30Speaker Nancy Pelosi's whereabouts, raising concerns about security.
00:58:34Her stance on election integrity has been another source of controversy.
00:58:38She's repeatedly made statements alleging fraud in the 2020 election,
00:58:43despite a lack of any evidence to support these claims.
00:58:46Public persona and media presence.
00:59:02Bobert has cultivated a distinctive public image as a firebrand,
00:59:06conservative, and staunch Trump supporter.
00:59:09Her confrontational style and provocative statements have made
00:59:12her a frequent subject of media attention, both positive and negative.
00:59:16She's particularly active on social media,
00:59:19using platforms like Twitter to communicate directly with supporters and critics alike.
00:59:24Her posts often generate significant engagement and controversy,
00:59:28contributing to her high profile in national politics.
00:59:31Her background as a small business owner and her unconventional path to politics
00:59:36have been central to her public narrative.
00:59:38She often presents herself as an outsider fighting against the Washington establishment,
00:59:43a message that resonates with many of her supporters.
00:59:46But her frequent controversies and personal scandals have also shaped public perception.
00:59:51Critics argue her behavior detracts from serious policy discussions.
00:59:55The Rise and Fall of Bill's Marriage
00:59:58Bill O'Reilly, the renowned conservative political commentator and longtime host
01:00:03of the popular Fox show The O'Reilly Factor,
01:00:06seemed to have it all – a thriving career, a devoted audience, and a picture-perfect family.
01:00:11But behind closed doors, his personal life was far from the idyllic image that he projected
01:00:16to the public.
01:00:17O'Reilly had been married to Maureen McPhilmy, a public relations executive, since 1996.
01:00:23The couple had two children together, a daughter and a son,
01:00:26and appeared to be the epitome of a happy, successful family.
01:00:29O'Reilly often spoke fondly of his wife and children on the show,
01:00:33painting a picture of a strong, united household.
01:00:35But as the years went on, cracks began to show in their perfect marriage.
01:00:39Rumors swirled about O'Reilly's temper and controlling nature, with some insiders
01:00:44claiming that he could be difficult and demanding both at work and at home.
01:00:48But in 2010, the illusion was shattered fully when O'Reilly and McPhilmy quietly separated.
01:00:54The split sent shockwaves through the media world, with many wondering what could have
01:00:58driven the seemingly happy couple apart.
01:01:01Speculation ran rampant, with some pointing to O'Reilly's alleged infidelities and others
01:01:06claiming that McPhilmy had simply grown tired of his domineering ways.
01:01:10For months, the couple managed to keep their separation under wraps,
01:01:13with O'Reilly continuing to wear his wedding ring on air and making no mention of his marital
01:01:18troubles.
01:01:18But in 2011, the truth finally came out when McPhilmy filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable
01:01:24differences.
01:01:25The divorce proceedings were bitter and acrimonious, with both sides trading barbs and
01:01:30accusations in court.
01:01:32McPhilmy claimed that O'Reilly had been emotionally abusive and controlling throughout
01:01:36the marriage, while O'Reilly accused his ex-wife of using their children as pawns in
01:01:41the divorce battle.
01:01:42In the end, the court awarded McPhilmy primary custody of the couple's two children,
01:01:47a decision that reportedly infuriated O'Reilly.
01:01:50He was granted visitation rights, but the damage to his relationship with his children
01:01:54had already been done.
01:01:55The fallout from the divorce was far-reaching, with many of O'Reilly's fans expressing
01:02:01shock and disappointment at the revelations about his personal life.
01:02:04Some called for his resignation from Fox News, claiming that he had lost all credibility
01:02:09as a moral authority figure.
01:02:11But O'Reilly continued to weather the storm, hosting his show and maintaining his position
01:02:15as one of the most powerful voices in conservative media.
01:02:20Disturbing Accusations Emerge
01:02:22As Bill's divorce was finalized, disturbing accusations began to surface about the conservative
01:02:28commentator's behavior behind closed doors.
01:02:31The most shocking of these allegations came from O'Reilly's own daughter, who claimed
01:02:36to have witnessed a horrifying incident of domestic violence between her parents.
01:02:40According to court documents, O'Reilly's teenage daughter told a court-appointed forensic
01:02:45examiner that she had seen her father dragging her mother down a staircase by her neck.
01:02:50The alleged incident was said to have occurred at the family's home in Manhasset, New York,
01:02:55before their separation in 2020.
01:02:57When asked about the validity of his daughter's allegations, O'Reilly had this to say.
01:03:02All allegations against me in these circumstances are 100% false.
01:03:06I am going to respect the court-mandated confidentiality put in place to protect
01:03:11my children and will not comment any further.
01:03:13The revelation of this alleged act of violence sent shockwaves through the media world,
01:03:18with many wondering how a man who had built a career on promoting family values and
01:03:23traditional morality could be capable of such a heinous act.
01:03:26But the accusations didn't stop there.
01:03:28During the custody battle for the couple's two children, O'Reilly's daughter also reportedly
01:03:33told the court psychiatrist that her father was an absentee parent who had little interest in
01:03:37developing a relationship with her.
01:03:39She described him as a man prone to fits of rage, which she found deeply unsettling and scary.
01:03:45These allegations painted a disturbing picture of O'Reilly as a man with a hair-triggered temper
01:03:50and a propensity for violence, both physical and emotional.
01:03:53The court psychiatrist's findings seemed to support this characterization,
01:03:57with the therapist noting the daughter's strong preference to live primarily with her mother.
01:04:02As the custody battle played out in court, more and more sordid details about O'Reilly's
01:04:07behavior began to emerge.
01:04:09Former colleagues and associates came forward with stories of his abusive and
01:04:13bullying behavior in the workplace, describing him as a man who used his power and influence
01:04:18to intimidate and harass those around him.
01:04:21O'Reilly's Retaliations and Underhanded Tactics
01:04:25As the custody battle raged on, the Fox News host began to employ a series of
01:04:30retaliatory and underhanded tactics to gain the upper hand.
01:04:34One of his first moves was to try to launch a police investigation into McPhilmy's new
01:04:39boyfriend, a Nassau County detective named Jeffrey Gross.
01:04:42O'Reilly, who had a long-standing connection to the Nassau County Police Department,
01:04:46reportedly used his influence to push for an internal affairs investigation into Gross.
01:04:52The aim was unclear, but many speculated that O'Reilly was trying to dig up dirt
01:04:56on his ex-wife's new partner to discredit him and gain leverage in the custody battle.
01:05:01The gambit ultimately failed, and the Nassau County Police Department
01:05:04did not pursue the matter further.
01:05:06O'Reilly soon turned to even more underhanded tactics in his quest
01:05:10to gain control over his children.
01:05:11In a move that shocked many observers, he secretly hired the court-appointed
01:05:16neutral therapist, a woman named Lynn Kulikowski, as a full-time nanny for his children.
01:05:21The move was a clear violation of the custody agreement, which had designated Kulikowski
01:05:26as an impartial arbiter in any disputes between O'Reilly and McPhilmy.
01:05:30By hiring her as a member of his household staff, O'Reilly had effectively undermined
01:05:35the integrity of the agreement and raised serious questions
01:05:38about Kulikowski's ability to remain neutral.
01:05:41But Bill didn't stop there.
01:05:42In a move that many saw as a direct attack on his ex-wife's character,
01:05:46he began to pressure McPhilmy to stop saying that her new marriage to Detective Gross
01:05:51was valid in the eyes of the Catholic Church.
01:05:54O'Reilly, who had long been a vocal advocate for traditional Catholic values,
01:05:58reportedly used his connections within the Church to have McPhilmy
01:06:02formally reprimanded by her parish priest.
01:06:04The move was seen as a particularly low blow by O'Reilly,
01:06:07who seemed willing to use his religious beliefs as a weapon against his ex-wife.
01:06:12But perhaps the most shocking revelation of all came when it was discovered that O'Reilly
01:06:16was secretly seeking an annulment of his 15-year marriage to McPhilmy.
01:06:20This move was seen as a particularly egregious attempt
01:06:23to erase the memory of his ex-wife and their two children.
01:06:27A Pattern Of Impropriety And Abuse Of Power
01:06:30Did you ever send a lewd text or email to another employee at Fox News?
01:06:35No.
01:06:36Did you ever have any human resources cases brought against you?
01:06:39Not in 42 years.
01:06:41The New York Times?
01:06:42Wait, alright, I've been in this business. I've worked for 12 companies. Not one time
01:06:47did I have any interaction with HR or any complaints filed against me.
01:06:51As these disturbing details came out, it became clear that these revelations
01:06:56were part of a larger pattern.
01:06:58The allegations of domestic violence and underhanded tactics in his personal life
01:07:02were shocking enough on their own, but they took an even more sinister cast
01:07:06when viewed in the context of the numerous sexual harassment allegations that had been
01:07:10leveled against O'Reilly over the course of his tenure at Fox.
01:07:13The first of these had surfaced in 2004, and then in 2016, it was revealed that O'Reilly
01:07:19and Fox News had settled multiple sexual harassment lawsuits over the years,
01:07:23paying out millions of dollars to buy the silence of the accusers.
01:07:27As the allegations continued to mount, advertisers began to flee his show in droves.
01:07:32The public outcry was deafening, with many calling for the network to take
01:07:36action against its star host.
01:07:38Finally, in April 2017, Fox News announced that O'Reilly would be
01:07:42leaving the network after more than two decades on the air.
01:07:44Now it's time to hear from you. Are you still a fan of Bill O'Reilly
01:07:48despite all of these allegations? Let us know in the comments section below.
