00:00It's like a game I like to call a new game sweep in the nation.
00:03It's called who we firing, who we firing, who we firing on this.
00:09Dolphins are out of the playoffs.
00:10Do I want to be a part of this?
00:12No judgments today.
00:14No judgments.
00:15I'm not going to judge anybody, but I just would like, who we firing.
00:18I just, you know what?
00:20Here's the deal.
00:21I'm not mad that people are mad and want to buy 25 years, dude.
00:26And want to buy it.
00:27I'm starting to meetings at eight 24, here's, here's what I hate.
00:35That word.
00:36And here's what I would hate.
00:37Yeah.
00:38And this is the honest truth.
00:41Sometimes your solution and what people think the solution is put you in a worse spot and
00:48I'll have you waiting another five or six or seven years.
00:52And you don't even realize it because you want to be satisfied right now.
00:56I want to be satisfied right now.
00:58So then you'll say it's been 30 years.
01:00So then you'll say, at what point are you going to have to have the patients, do they
01:05feel close to 26?
01:06All right.
01:07Nevermind.
01:08All right.
01:09Go ahead.
01:10You know, that's like, you know, in all fairness, this is why I root for the worst.
01:17Why?
01:18Because you don't, you, I understand people want something to happen, but don't you have
01:25to, like, doesn't it have to be a part where I don't want to ruin everything, but just
01:29because to make me satisfied, something happened, could we play who we firing and maybe you'll
01:34like it.
01:35Okay.
01:36Maybe you'll like it.
01:37Okay.
01:38You know, you don't know.
01:39It's a new game.
01:40Okay.
01:41Brandon.
01:42Okay.
01:43Who we firing?
01:44Hey there.
01:45I love the show.
01:46Excited to be on.
01:47Um, it's gotta be Chris career.
01:49I mean, that's, that's just the, the obvious answer.
01:53I don't think anybody is, you know, doing a hot take with that, but it's just, to me,
01:58it's always been that he does not have a vision for this team.
02:01He does not like, you don't look at Chris and say like, what, what identity is he building
02:06for this team?
02:07To me, he's an Instacart shopper for whatever coach he brought in, he's just out here shopping
02:13for groceries.
02:14He doesn't even know what he's getting.
02:16And then half the time he's getting spoiled groceries from the back of the back of the
02:21aisle that nobody wanted, uh, to me, it's just the lack of vision from a GM level.
02:28Like you look at other teams, they know what they're doing.
02:30They're building towards something like a shared vision.
02:34I don't think career has vision.
02:36I think he's just out there getting whatever, you know, next coach he brings in.
02:39So that's my problem with them.
02:42Brandon's fine.
02:43Hey, I like the idea.
02:44I can't, I can't.
02:45I like the idea of Chris career, having the Amazon cart and be like 25% off.
02:52No, I like, I'm like, that was very like, that's what I'm saying.
03:00I can't be mad at you.
03:01I think, I think one of the things that, and I give you a perfect example, the Panthers
03:08GM, how he built it, how he, he had a base and then added like-minded stars to that base
03:19out of the perfect guys, right?
03:21Perfect.
03:22Yin the bar clubs.
03:23Yeah.
03:24Right.
03:25Exactly.
03:26Exactly.
03:27He didn't just go sign all of the big name players.
03:29So from that standpoint, yes, I'm okay.
03:34I think we really likes who's firing.
03:36Like I I'm 100% with you there.
03:38I can't, I can't be mad at Evander who is firing toes.
03:43What's good.
03:44Leroy.
03:45What's good.
03:46What's that?
03:47Good buddy.
03:48How are you?
03:49Leroy man.
03:50Before I came on, I was going to say, you almost took the words right out of my mouth.
03:52You can't, you can't fire everybody, but Greer Greer, when I say he has to go here, here's
03:58why I think he has to go.
03:59You did all this draft and you had all these picks, you trade it back.
04:03It was all cute.
04:04None of it worked.
04:05Like detectives are better than us and we had all their picks.
04:09They were behind us in the rebuild like you didn't have to be Greer.
04:13You can't fire Mike McDaniel because you need some type of like consistency.
04:18And also I just, I can't, I don't want to find, I know he's new, but imagine firing
04:24him and he goes somewhere else and gets it right.
04:26I don't want him.
04:27I don't want the dolphins to be his growing pains and he grew, go somewhere else and turn
04:30into Dan Campbell.
04:31You know what I mean?
04:32I lived through that.
04:33I think you have to be Greer.
04:34I lived through that.
04:35Appreciate it.
04:36Bill Belichick.
04:38Yeah.
04:39Yeah.
04:40So again, I can't, and here's, here is why I can't argue with any of these guys.
04:55One, because we have no idea about GMs, right?
05:01Do we really know who would be a good GM or not?
05:05No.
05:06Right.
05:07So you're, you're holding out for.
05:08Right.
05:09No, I'm not.
05:10I'm just saying from the standpoint of, I can't get mad at anybody because I can't definitively
05:15say, Oh, it's let's get this guy or that guy.
05:21We know other coaches.
05:22We know other quarterbacks.
05:24We know other offensive linemen.
05:26So it's easier to say we need this, this, or this Rome is saying fire everyone, including
05:31the valet parking guys.
05:32That's a bit strong.
05:33We don't have to fire the partners.
05:34It's a bit, it's, you know, it's not their fault.
05:37They're not parking the car.
05:38Good enough.
05:39Clearly, baby.
05:40Right.
05:41Uh, let's go to what Wally, who we firing.
05:45Hey man, you're talking to somebody that used to walk through your orange bowl as a little
05:55kid in 1970 to watch these people play.
05:57So I've been watching the dolphins for a long time.
06:00And this is the worst I've ever seen.
06:02This guy agree or has to go.
06:05He was given a plethora of pigs, build a team.
06:09And today to my, uh, non-expert expectations and knowledge, I think we're worse off than
06:16when we got all those pigs for Laramie pencil, he traded a second and a third round pick
06:21for Eichenberg, which is crazy.
06:23He has Kendall, he has Smith on defense and neither one can play a lick.
06:29He picks players who are injured and cast balls from other teams who were past like
06:35excellent players.
06:36And now they're like a shell of themselves.
06:39And that's who he picks because he doesn't trust himself.
06:42So you know what?
06:43We don't trust him.
06:44He's got to go.
06:45Wow.
06:46While he's fine.
06:47Chris Greer is the common theme today.
06:48I will say, I would just tell Chris Greer, I could never do your job, but take a look
06:55at the durability thing.
06:56You really seem to not care about that and guys who get hurt a lot, seem to still get
07:00hurt a lot.
07:01I don't think he can do his job either, but I think you're good.
07:05I just, yeah, I would say that here's what I've learned over the last few years when
07:17every team has struggled and every team has had to either rebuild or stay consistent.
07:26They always start with the offense and defensive line.
07:29So they'll always do that.
07:31And they'll start there.
07:32A great offense and defensive line can make an average offense or an average defense look
07:39better.
07:42But a bad offensive, defensive line, sometimes your skill positions can't make them look
07:47better.
07:48Can I say this?
07:50Steven?
07:51Steven says who we firing or a buddy or a buddy or a buddy.
07:56So, and, and I get it.
08:00That's what you want to do.
08:01People are mad today, man.
08:02I get that's what you want to do.
08:04Let's talk to handsome Daffy.
08:06Hello, handsome Daffy.
08:07Who we firing?
08:08What's going on guys?
08:10What's happening?
08:11Well, we already fired OBJ, fired Tyler.
08:14Those are two great firemen.
08:16Tyler got out there.
08:17I'm not, I'm waved.
08:18I mean, the thing for today is going to be Chris Greer.
08:26Anybody who agrees with Chris Greer, anybody who wants him there, they all should be fired.
08:31They should be fired too.
08:32Just for thinking.
08:33Anybody who agrees with it.
08:34You don't even have to work for the organization.
08:35You can work at the post office.
08:36If you agree that he should be there, they should fire you right now.
08:37If you make Chris Greer's latte in the morning and you think he's a nice guy, you need to
08:50be fired from Starbucks.
08:51Exactly.
08:52There'll be a lot of people without jobs for Christmas.
08:53Wow.
08:54People are upset at Chris Greer.
08:55So, so I think we're finding a theme.
09:05Now, yeah, I, again, I, I, if I have any questions about what made it or what has them
09:20struggling right now in this team struggle, there's two things.
09:24You're not physical enough upfront on the defensive line.
09:27You are okay.
09:28But those guys can't play for Zach sealer.
09:30What a season.
09:31Right.
09:32On offensive line, not very physical.
09:34It's not a three-step drop and there's guys standing with tour before he can bring the
09:41ball up to throw it.
09:45You need a physical running game.
09:47I don't know whether it's because your line's not physical, because guess what?
09:51If you look at all the other places that this system was ran, right, San Fran, you go to
09:59Atlanta, they all ran the ball extremely well.
10:04So I'm not just buying that is the system.
10:08The second thing, and this is more important, there is too many high draft picks watching
10:18the game from the sidelines.
10:20That's right.
10:21Too many, too many.
10:22And if you look at all of the successful teams, they all have young guys playing really well
10:29on the cheap.
10:31And that's how you excel.
10:33And that's how you can make moves.
10:35You don't make the moves first and then try to go cheap.
10:41And that's, that's what happened.
10:43Like they did, they kind of did it backwards in that they went and got all these free agents,
10:49got rid of all these draft picks, and then assumed that they were going to find somebody
10:53later on in the draft.
10:54It actually works the other way.
10:56You keep firing and going, trying to find all these, get all these picks, and then you
11:02add when you find out which one of these picks works.
