2024 has been quite the year, so we’ll be taking a look back on the past 12 months of some of the biggest, funnest, most exciting stories we’ve covered. We’ve been everywhere, celebrated all the holidays, and spoken to some great people with great stories.

00:00So yeah we've just recently welcomed a new male sloth called Nova and he's just
00:06over three years old now and he's joining Button to be part of the
00:10European breeding program to hopefully fall in love and give us some baby
00:15sloths in the future. Of course learning about this ship is amazing but it's just
00:19being here and seeing it all makes you think what it would have been like all
00:22those centuries ago on the seven seas.
00:26Really exciting. She's been so excited for months and months I
00:32sprang it on her as a Christmas present she thought we hadn't got tickets she
00:36was very disappointed. And it's even got these really clever screens so you can
00:40see all of the local information around a map of the centre of Cardiff and even
00:48much wider map. Feels a bit unimportant but you can see every single train in
00:56the whole of the United Kingdom. We're only an hour away and it was it was
01:00doable. It was yeah. The last show as well that's exciting. So it feels like a
01:06once-in-a-lifetime opportunity if it is the last ever episode. It's my favourite
01:10night of the year it's actually my third year presenting the awards this year and
01:14I keep coming back because you're just surrounded by incredible young people
01:18every year I sit down in the week and I read the stories and I watch the videos
01:22and I'm an absolute bits. It's really good to see everything vibrant around
01:26chef demos all the stalls all everybody around having a good time it's really
01:31good. We've got food fest which has been going I don't know actually a year and about 12 years lots of stalls lots going on.
01:39Dave says it's really great that this year more locals have been involved
01:42there's always been a bit of a tourist destination but now people from South
01:46Wales are seeing the moratorium. Halloween is always my busiest period so
01:52Halloween through to Christmas and New Year and this this year in particular
01:57it's got a lot busier.
