00:07The Philippine National Police promised to continue the surveillance of those who closed POGO and its guerrilla operations.
00:15Ryan Leziguez is in the center of the news.
00:20You will see, if we help, after January 1, you will see the power of the government against this.
00:28Our President's promise will be fulfilled that there will be no more POGO by January 1.
00:33The gaming rooms of the POGO compound here in Island Cove, Kawit, Cavite have been abandoned.
00:39Even the quarters where POGO employees continue to work are also on vacation.
00:43In the inspection conducted by DILG Secretary John V. Cremulia along with the PNP, PAOC, and PACCOR,
00:51it was said that the POGO compound, which has 57 houses and 15,000 Filipino employees and 15,000 foreigners, is affected by the closure.
01:03Secretary Cremulia said last month that there is no longer any supply of electricity here in the compound.
01:09Earlier this morning, the houses here in the area were locked one by one.
01:14It was also put under closed signage.
01:17According to PACCOR Chair Alejandro Tenco, the POGO here in Island Cove is the last POGO that closed in the country.
01:24The PNP probably will monitor those who closed POGO in the country,
01:29especially since they have received a report that there is a guerrilla operation where the BPO is used as a cover.
01:36This morning when we closed it, there are no more houses left here.
01:43At the end of the first week, we will start enforcing the small-scale POGO operations that will be hidden in hotels, resorts, and houses.
02:04The deadline given by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to close all POGO operations in the country is set for December 31.
02:13Ryan Liziguez for Pambansang TV in Bagong, Philippines.
