00:37In the 5th edition of the Palacio concert,

00:41the biggest and most popular stars were present

00:45on television and on the big screen.

00:48For the Filipino film, the theme was the pre-holiday celebration.

00:58showed off the unparalleled contribution of the Philippine film industry

01:10of the annual Metro Manila Film Festival

01:13as a support for the 10 films to be released in cinemas on Christmas.

01:33our fellow artists and producers

01:37take their time

01:40to bring tech-quality products.

01:44In 2020, there was no traditional release

01:48of MMFF entries in cinemas due to the pandemic.

01:55and bring back the past glory of the films.

02:29It's a big thing that we know that the government supports us,

02:33especially our President.

02:35It's my first time here and I'm just really happy

02:37that they really support Philippine cinema.

02:40The MMFF artists cried

02:44for the joy,

02:45tears,

02:46and tech-quality films

02:49to their fans on Christmas.

02:52We are new.

02:53We haven't been in the showbiz for a long time.

02:56We will prove that we can work together

03:00and we can give a quality film.

03:07But aside from the tequila,

03:09not only does Filipino films give joy,

03:12but also work and livelihood

03:14from the writers,

03:16directors,

03:17and the workers in front and behind the camera.

03:20It's really important that we give honor and importance

03:25to our film industry

03:27because it gives livelihood to our Filipino countrymen.

03:36to discover the beauty of our country

03:38and the talent of the Filipino people.

03:42that this is one administration

03:43that does not just merely give lip service.

03:53from the people of the industry.
