00:00They do. I mean, all three of my girls, they have a musical gift, you know.
00:06I think it's interesting how they all express it differently,
00:10and now that the twins, you know, they're six years old,
00:12and one of them really loves to, she'll get melodies in her head,
00:18and she'll, Emery, and she'll ask me, like,
00:21can we go around the corner and record this melody, Mom?
00:23I want to record it so I remember it.
00:27And then they've written little, like, funny songs together.
00:30I mean, it's just so sweet.
00:32And then the stage, you know,
00:34Isley has definitely been the one of the three of them who tours the most,
00:38has toured the most with us,
00:40so she's had more opportunities to hop up on stage and sing over the years.
00:45But the twins, they have great rhythm, which they get from their dad,
00:52and they're showing just signs of, like, Betsy loves to dance.
00:58She's a very free dancer, and they love very different sounding music.
01:03Like, Emery is my Imagine Dragons.
01:06She loves Imagine Dragons.
01:08Like, she'll ask for, it ends up always being on a Friday on the way to school.
01:13It's like Imagine Dragon Fridays, and we'll listen to Radioactive,
01:16and they also love their song Bones.
01:19And then Betsy's more of, like, she loves Edge of Seventeen and, like, Barracuda.
01:25And then in the next breath, it's like a song from Descendants, you know?
01:29I mean, it's just all over the place.
01:32Yeah, we have an annual Christmas party with our friends and family.
01:36It's actually coming up this Sunday.
01:38And we do, we sing.
01:41Santa always shows up.
01:43He joined in on the singing last year, which was really fun,
01:46because all the kids are, like, watching, you know, Santa sing up on the housetop,
01:51which was super cool.
01:52And, like, Santa Claus is coming to town, and they're like, but you're here.
01:55And because the magic is still very much alive in our house.
01:59And it was sweet.
02:03It was so fun.
02:04And then we also, like, we do Christmas movies.
02:08Like, I mean, we've been watching Christmas movies since October this year.
02:11We've just been ready for Christmas, like,
02:14since we started feeling the slightest chill in the air.
02:18And then it's just, it's our Christmas traditions of, you know,
02:22grabbing the tree the first of the month or the Sunday after Thanksgiving,
02:26and then Christmas jammies on Christmas Eve.
02:32But it's really sweet.
02:34This year is obviously extra special, just with the song and the excitement around it
02:39and getting to do things like this and perform it.
02:44It's been, it's really sweet.
02:46We hope that this song just allows for moments,
02:51even if it's just the three and a half minutes that they put this song on,
02:54that families can smile and laugh and be playful together.
02:58And that's, I think, you know, if I had a Christmas wish, that'd be it.
03:03That when this song is played, I hope that whoever you're with,
03:07that y'all giggle and have fun.
03:10And it's, you know, a playful moment in a season that can sometimes be really hard, you know.
