00:00Under the leadership of the Presidential Communications Office,
00:03the probe team, PhilSAR.com, Press1PH, and FYT
00:08formally conducted the training on media literacy and content creation of state media
00:14including the Philippine Information Agency, People's Television Network,
00:18Philippine News Agency, Radio Pilipinas, and IBC 13.
00:23The aim of the workshop was to provide sufficient knowledge
00:27to the aforementioned media organizations to fight disinformation.
00:32Some of the highlights of the two-day workshop were
00:36Anatomy of Disinformation, Media Literacy 101, Ethics Information,
00:42Fact Checking and Verification Tools, and Crafting Counter Narratives,
00:47Fighting Fake News Creatively.
00:50The highlight of the workshop was the practical application
00:53of the various fact-checking tools of the participants in the workshop.
01:20And of course we have to recognize these patterns
01:23because it is critical in stopping the spread of disinformation
01:28and of course for us to reclaim the narrative
01:31because how are we going to fight it if we don't know what it looks like.
