The Suits LA Cast on their connection to the original series

00:00I watched the original Suits series online like everybody else.

00:05I mean, I didn't see it on USA because I was busy shooting The Walking Dead.

00:09I didn't have time to do anything because I was constantly cleaning zombie guts off of my body.

00:13It was such a fun show to watch and it's right now proving to be a really fun show to do.

00:18I only watched it after I was up for this role.

00:21When I got the role of Suits L.A., I was like,

00:23I can't watch this show because then I'm just going to be doing what they did.

00:26That show's amazing and it was really good and I would love to binge it like everybody else.

00:29I don't want to get caught up in their patterns and their rhythms, so I'm not watching it on purpose.

00:34When it was announced that I was playing the part,

00:36I realized the magnitude of how many people are obsessed with the world of Suits.

00:42I watched it so I could understand the tone, understand the world.

00:45I love the show.

00:47My character has a history with one of the characters from the original series.

00:51We came up together in the DA's office.
