00:00How excited are you for families to get together and spend Christmas morning with Counter Lock?
00:05Oh boy, yeah. I won't be there, but you mean my family or you mean the viewers?
00:14Yeah, the collective.
00:16Everybody should go on Christmas morning, you should go and see the film.
00:21It's exciting. I won't be there, but I hope they enjoy it. I hope they're scared and I
00:24hope they think the movie's beautiful and it moves them and it does things to their body
00:29where they're like, oh, I'm not so sure how I feel about this, but it's cool, you know.
00:32You're not a sneak in the back of the theater kind of guy?
00:36On Christmas day? No, no.
00:37I don't know what your Christmas day is.
00:40I will say it's been interesting. The final look has largely been kept
00:43under wraps. So what are you most excited for people to see?
00:48Yeah, I'm excited for this beast to be unleashed.
00:54You know, yeah, yeah. Whenever you shoot a movie and you do a character, it's very private. It's
01:03a very intimate relationship you have with the film and then it's yours until it's released
01:11and then it's not yours anymore. It's the world's. So in a way, it's a premiere, but it's also a
01:18funeral.
01:19I see, I see. Nosferatu is interesting because it's such a staple in kind of
01:23pop culture in a way. There's young people that have been introduced to
01:27Counter-Strike through Spongebob. So what was your intro point?
01:30Do you know what I'm talking about?
01:31Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I saw it as a kid. I saw it as a kid. I saw the original as a kid.
01:38My dad and I would watch movies together and we'd watch silent film movies together and
01:43we watched, you know, mostly comic, like Charlie Chaplin stuff and the Buster Keaton things and
01:47stuff. And we watched that one. So I saw it as a kid. And then I played a character in a short
01:54film and the character's name was Teenage Nosferatu. It was a short film in Sweden.
02:01What's he up to in his teen years?
02:03Well, it's not about that. The movie's about something else. But anyways, I studied the
02:06character when I was 16 because I did like a portrayal of a teenage Nosferatu. Not the
02:11actual Nosferatu. Whatever. So I'd seen it a lot. I was very familiar with it.
