00:15The winners of the Energy Efficiency Excellence Awards 2024 will be announced today by the Department of Energy here in Makati, Dayamon Residences.
00:25The Energy Efficiency Excellence or EEE Awards is the official award and recognition body of DOE.
00:36For this year, the categories of EEE Awards for Energy Management and Industries and Buildings, EEE Awards for Government Entities, and EEE Special Awards are awarded.
00:49It is part of the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act that recognizes the accomplishments and strategies of individuals, groups, industries, government sectors, and households in implementing energy efficiency and conservation in their respective facilities.
01:05The goal of the EEE Awards is to implement efficiency energy systems in all types of households, including government facilities.
01:16The target of the EEE Awards is to implement energy management methods that can be included in policies that are focused on energy efficiency and conservation.
01:26In other words, 27 categories were awarded in the Energy Efficiency Excellence Awards last year.
01:33Dayan, it is expected that President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. will receive a message later and the keynote message will be followed by DOE Secretary Rafael Utilia.
