00:00I think that any art form has this possibility of touching someone in his life, in his, you
00:26know, putting in question something. I think a film or any art form can bring a question
00:33inside of your life. It's a must. It's a plus. It's a gift. And so going into a movie, you're
00:41going to a place of a mindset, a spirit. Words will stay with you. Some emotion will stay
00:49with you. And it's going to be enlightening your life. It's not going to resolve your
00:54life, but it's definitely going to do something. That's why the choice of your film is so important.
01:00Don't go and see any film just to have time. You really have to pick up the film you think
01:05is going to be something of your, you know, intuition is going to, you know, it's going
01:10to change something in you. I have to say that I was in New York like yesterday and
01:18we're presenting The Return. And there was a lady at the end of the screening. There
01:25was a party and she said to me, you have no idea how I changed after I saw Damaged. I
01:31said, Damaged? You know, of Louis Mal. I was very shocked because the film is quite shocking,
01:39you know. And she said it changed totally my life and I never lived the same way after
01:44seeing this film. This one was a very surprise to me. And I think as an artist, if you can
01:51touch one person, only one person, it's worth it. When I go and see a movie, I'm buying
02:00something. I'm spending time for it. I want to have something for my life to be nourished,
02:06my life to be different, to open something up or to close something, but to have a reaction.
02:14And that's when it can be lived with others, it's wonderful. Or by yourself, it's wonderful
02:20too. But films are really meaningful when they communicate. It's all about movement.
02:29It's all about, you know, that we appreciate our differences and our way of thinking. It's different.
