The FIPRESCI Prize aims to promote young filmmakers and original cinema. We spoke with jury member Sadia Khalid Reeti about the award.

00:16 So, PIPRESC is the International Federation of Film Critics and we give a prize in three sections.
00:23 The main competition in certain regard and the parallel section.
00:26 And we have a three-member jury board for each section, so we have total nine jury members every year.
00:32 So what sort of films can people expect to see in the lineup for the PIPRESC award?
00:37 So usually we go for the younger filmmakers that we can really like inspire with this award.
00:45 And we look for mostly like in any other jury.
00:49 We look for the film that is out of the box, that we haven't seen before, that's like pushing the envelope for films.
00:55 So we're going to have a long discussion tomorrow and you know we're going to announce it on Saturday and you're going to find out then.
