UST denies NU sweep to forge decider in UAAP women's basketball  The defending champions UST Growling Tigresses denied the NU Lady Bulldogs of a UAAP Season 87 women's basketball tournament sweep, scoring a 76-68 win in Game Two of the Finals at the Mall of Asia Arena on Dec. 11, 2024 to force a decider. Brigette Santos dropped a career-best 27 points and dished out four assists to lead the Growling Tigresses, who got off to a 24-9 start and hit timely baskets down the stretch to hand the Lady Bulldogs their first loss of the season.
